Yep, not professional at all ! Maybe, he is trying to prove a point, that you can't keep a player against his wishes !

He doesn't want to leave, looks like the poor chap is being shoved out.
Tears of relief, on hearing he wasn't being sold to Chelsea.
After all how could this overhyped player get a game ages of Cahill, Terry and Zouma

That's why Martinez said he will refuse a transfer request from John Stones? So it's all a lie?

I didn't mean it soft lad. Truth be told,he probably feels guilty handing in a transfer request, and at 21 it must be a lot to handle.

Let's be honest. Sterling could've earned 100k easily at Liverpool. But City were always going to challenge for major honours something Liverpool cannot provide. Stones same situation.
Just wondering are Everton adamant that Stones is staying because they want to keep an unhappy player who clearly wants to leave the club? Or do Everton not want to sell him because they haven't received what they consider a high enough offer yet?
I'm slightly confused at this point.

Everton board member told a fan at the weekend that he and Bill Kenwright will not sell Stones to Chelsea.
So we are waiting for an offer to tempt us

Does that mean you won't sell to anyone or just not to Chelsea? But you will sell to Chelsea if the right offer comes in I assume.

You know as much as us. If Chelsea come in with an insane offer I can see us selling him. I think we'd rather sell to Utd tho after this palaver.
I'm slightly confused at this point**
Why is it confusing you - he has a 4 year contract and we dont want to sell him, its Everton's choice

Everton. The only club in world football with more power than players or agents nowadays**
Why are you even interested?

Since the beginning I've been hearing is that you'd rather sell to Utd. Maybe the player would rather go to the PL Champions than a team who's best days might be behind them in the post-Fergie era.
By the way all we've done is put in a couple very legal offers in for the player. If you don't like the way that the media have reported and covered the story then blame them, that's nothing to do with us.
