Lennon and Yarmalenko would be ideal. TS said Yarmelenko would leave on a free if he doesn't get his move, is he into his final year?
Think we will hold out for a deadline deal for Lennn and get him for about £3-4m
Yep he's on his final year, but will apparently stay there, maybe we could get him in January but I wouldn't bank on it.
Yep Lennon should be relatively cheap (£4-5m), austin around £15m?
I would like Austin. But he in my opinion wouldn't fit the system
Talksport have just reported that we've rejected a £20m bid for Coleman by PSG, might be a load of rubbish though since it's talksport
To be fair I would expect that to be true. He is the best RB in the PL in my opinion.
Hope we don't sell Coleman, that would really get the Chelsea Girls squealing !!
OP - why do you think rodriguez would go into the u21's - that doesnt really help us at all - we need another first team striker, I read it as 2 more attacking options in addition to Mori??
Martinez said he would have a year of development, he also indicated that Rodriguez wasn't part of the three first team signing he wanted to make. The fee for him isn't huge, he's one for the future
I still think there are another two players coming in that will go straight into the first team squad. One a forward and one midfield although I would like another keeper as Robles was pretty pump the other night !!

Too many are for the future, henen was bought for the future, we need another first team striker signing in this window
That's a very short sighted outlook yeah yeah, Martinez has said we'll be signing two attacking players and I'll take his word on that. Meanwhile it makes perfect sense to sign youngsters and develop them, just look and stones and Galloway as prime examples of players who weren't immediately "first team players" but who have go on to be very important a year or two down the line
Unfortunately northern soul I don't think we will be getting another keeper in, hopefully Howard will go to the mls next summer and we can actually sign someone competent

I know he did but I'm pretty sure he is classing the signing of Rodriguez as one of those two attacking players, its great that we are planning for the future but what do we do if Lukaku and Kone get injured? you cant have a first team squad with only 2 strikers and we will be found out at some point
If you watch the press conference you'll see him not regard Rodriguez as one of the two attacking signings which means we will be signing two more

Fair enough, I only read the quote, if he doesnt then I'm blaming you
Stones will be like a new signing
Moyes isn't here, so there won't be any more of that 'like a new signing' rubbish!!
Our new signings will be like new signings
Moyes must look back now and be a bit pi$$ed that Kenwright is turning big player bids down and all the TV money that is now available, it would have been interesting to see if he could have pushed us on from 5th-7th every season
Problem is all the clubs around us have just as much or even more money so I imagine the status quo would remain.
Hence why Martinez has decided to buy youths and develop them rather than buying "ready made" but expensive players. That then allows us to make marquee signings such as Lukaku rather than packing the squad with average £5-10m players.

thats a very good point to be fair
I hope Mori and Rodriguez aren't are our only signings,we need players that can go straight into the side and improve it. Going by the footage of Rodriguez on YT,the average crowd he played in front of was about 10. Vauxhall motors get higher attendance.

He would of got the players to push us on further but his tactics and negativity at times would of let us down.
