Wow.
That's exactly how I feel about the game.
Coq probably gets an 8 for me tho.
Theo must have been cursing in his head once the red card was given. Before they shut up shop he was getting good runs in.
I think the problem is not Walnut but Wenger - we need a quality finisher - we KNOW Walnut is not clinical in front of goal.
Walnut will have his days and he is a valuable asset played wide but being a reliable converter of good chances is not something he will ever be and I cannot understand how Wenger has not worked that out.
Coquelin gets a 8? For what he didnt do anything special at all. Like I said most posters on this forum football knowledge is shocking
Cech - 6
Bellerin - 7
Gabriel - 7
Kos - 7
Nacho - 7
Coq - 6
Santi - 5
Ramsey - 6
Alexis - 3
Ox - 6
Theo - 4
Giroud - 5
Arteta - N/A

Nah, I gave Coquelin an extra point just because of the treatment he took. He was just ok today
Ramsey 7? I must have watched a different game. Broke up too many good opportunities to bring Theo in the game. He deserves not better than Theo.
Giroud was useless when coming on but we werent even interested in scoring anymore.

Meant to give Rambo a 6 actually.
"He deserves not better than Theo."
Don't be silly.
Cech - 8, had absolute nothing to do and didnt make any mistake
Bellerin - 7
Gabriel - 7
Kos - 7
Nacho - 7
Coq - 7
Santi - 5
Ramsey - 3
Alexis - 4 at least he didnt lost the ball like Ramsey
Ox - 6
Theo - 5, hadnt too many touches. Our striker must be at 100 % chance converted if he wants to be MOTM
I thought Sanchez was better than people are giving him credit for - carried the ball forward very well, and helped create a few good openings - particularly the Walcott chance. He also did a lot defensively.
Cazorla used the ball well as well, IMO - more disciplined performance from him, which isn't a bad thing.

He gave the Newcastle back line more worry with one of his runs than Theo did all game. You cannot tell me he was worse than Theo.
Bit harsh on Cazorla, no?
Pretty much disagree with the entire ratings on here. We were actually very good till ironically Newcastle went down to 10. Why do you think the they were getting booked so often? Because they were getting cut apart.
Theo was wasteful. But that was expected to an extent because its his first start. However if he continues to be wasteful will only highlight we need a new striker and in fact needed one since RVP.
Ramsey was a ball hog and pretty unintelligent with it. He doesn't have the vision that Ozil has which is vital for no.10s.
Oxo didn't run at all. Its as if he is carrying an injury. At least he had a shot.
Santi has no power in the middle of the pitch. We need a holding player with the ability to start attacks and then pair him with Ramsey or Wilshere.
Actually we were too patient after Newcastle went down to 10. In fact should have gone down to 9. We weren't troubled at the back which suggests Kos/Gabriel should be the first choice pairing.

You mean the meaningless runs, losing the ball when in attack and pass the ball sideways at best.
you surely must have watched a different game.
Nope, I know what I watched. Ramsey didn't have his best game, but he made good runs, created a few chances in the 2nd half, and had a couple of good shots.

Bad performance of you. Give you a 5 at best
Alexis, Cazorla, Walcott were poor.
Chamberlain gets a pass because he basically scored.
Ramsey was the most threatening of our attackers.
Koscielny was one of our most aggressive attackers at times.
Cech barely touched the ball (how GT gives him an 8 is beyond me)
Monreal did well, the lack of movement from the forward players did for him a bit. Bellerin was also active going forward.
Gabriel didn't do anything bad.
Cech barely touched the ball (how GT gives him an 8 is beyond me)
He did nothing wrong. To give him a lower rating because Newcastle didnt force him to make a save is unfair. Simple
But to give him a higher rating even though he did nothing is also unfair. Why not give him 10 out of 10 as he was perfect?

And i didn't give Cech a low rating, GT. I didn't give him one at all because he had almost literally nothing to do.
