I actually think a lot of the blame simply has to be pointed at the players, a lot of whom had a bad game. Lovren was back to being Lovren (I still want him to make it I'm just losing faith), Milner was abnormally bad which is very rare for him, Benteke had no support and Coutinho was sent off for a daft red card.
I thought it was looking good http://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewArticle/320861
Milner will look good around quality players, like at City, at a place like LFC he won't be very useful
GB you are actually a neon sign for Wums
My stream was a bit iffy but I thought Milner was easily one of our better players.
I blame Hendo. We are always worse when he isn't in the team.
As i said, maybe it just was ONE of those days. We wait and see i suppose.

You've had plenty of these games under Rodgers. It's not one of those games.
See how we do against Swansea before panicking about not going into the game full of confidence, can see us having a difficult time tomorrow!

He was alright.
One thing I noticed today was a lot of the players trying to do too much. Milner was constantly trying to hit 40+ yard passes and just failing.
Couple that with Firmino and Gomez doing their best Messi&Alves impression (and failing) it made for a really poor showing. Thought Can was doing well until he got subbed too.
This is probably your best ever article GB.
That pathetic result and performance has certainly turned up the heat again on the manager.
Losing before an international break is always difficult for the manager and will mean the disgruntlement of the fans will rumble on.
Playing utd away in our next league fixture turns the heat up even more, followed by an away game in Europe where Rodgers record is poor.
The axe might start being sharpened if the manager can't quickly get more from this team.
PPD I tried to steam it without success. I listened to it on Ch 429; meither Milner nor Can, especially Can appeared to shine.
Please help re stream for the next game.

As a nuetral I actually thought Can was your best player before he was taken off.
Was he injured.?
JTR....you were lucky you didnt watch it mate, it was that poor.
Your articles don't make sense. After a win then we are title contenders. After a poor performance then it is a bad day and Chelsea and others losing points so it is not that bad. I actually think you are trying to annoy us. Probably a wum.
Rodgers and the players were both at fault.
Lovren reverted to type today, and deserves to be dropped in the next game. Can't really think of anyone who had a good game at all.
But its also down to our tactics that we look toothless. Against a packed defence, you need to stretch the play and try and create gaps, which we didn't set up to do. Look at Arsenal, 5 goalless games out of the last 6 at home and that's partly down to Ramsey playing on the wings and narrowing their play.
We haven't utilised Benteke's strengths, the crossing was poor today, plus we have nobody supporting him. And thats partly down to players having to hold back to protect the defence, which is what we did last season as well when we went on that clean sheet run. The goals dried up at both ends.
What's worrying is that Rodgers isn't learning. We've hardly created any chances this season bar the Arsenal game, and we're relying on individual moments of magic just like last season.
He seriously needs to sort it out or again his heads going to be on the block. It's not like we're regularly playing good football and getting unlucky, it's been like this for most of his tenure barring the last 3 months of 2012/13 and the 2nd half of 2013/14.
