Too right it is, if you can get £50m for David Luiz then Stones is worth £60m+

Nope!
Many of us London Blues were looking forwards to stones arrival, disappointed he was not allowed to follow his dreams, but we also are relieved that this outrageous offer was declined as we'd have you bleating on about how we were hoodwinked into paying so much.......

David Luiz, Vice captain of Brazil national squad, experienced tried and tested player, worth over the odds for his morale raising fun attitudes.
John Stones, Young , immense potential, inflated value as local product, an immense gamble none the less. reported value 20 Mill, of interest only to PL big four. Only chelsea credited with making any genuine offer.
Did they sing this before or after they attacked his home?
Oh God. Imagine if he left now. Embarrassing.
Was quite a good song to be fair, the moral high ground is a little rich, as it were though. Everton well within their rights, Stones has a contract but he did hand in a transfer request and Chelsea offered a very good amount for him. I'll be interested to see how this plays out, will Everton sell in te summer for a similar amount having had anther season out of him with more time to replace? That is likely but also the best case in my opinion. He's not a Sterling, that is for sure so possibly the a good move for Everton. Had it not been for the temperament of the lad I'd have been of the opinion Everton were so fixated on not being forced in to a position they'd cut off their nose to spite their face, but I guess in part that is where the value for the player comes.

Oh dear god, please don't tell me you're seriously quoting the Star as a reliable source of news?
They had us preparing to sell Coleman to either PSG or Bayern for £20m before Tuesday.......
Not surprised we tried to re-negotiate it, happens all the time, Spurs did it with Southampton over Bale when Southampton were struggling in League 1.
Fair play to Barnsley to sticking to their guns though.

Money can and more than likely will buy Stones at some point. Whether it's to Chelsea remains to be seen.
The lad has already put in a transfer request and if he's as good as many seem to think he is then he'll be wanting to play in the Champions League regularly.
Barnsley put in a bid for him
