not convinced Aguero will be that great as a lone forward but that midfield is packed with goals

An inconsistent Sterling, a world class striker who is always injured, a Belgian that flopped in England and an average Brazilian midfielder.

No I wouldn't.

They still have plenty to prove.

imagine they got Pogba to play next to Toure

posted on 31/8/15

Toure is in his 30s
Fernandinho is awful
De Bruyne is decent but massively overpriced
Silva is quality
Sterling us overrated
Aguero will be at Madrid next summer

Hope this Martial turns out to be the new CR7, for LVG's sake!!!

That midfield is insane... Not to mention their defence have started very well too...

Only thing I would say is they will struggle offensively against physical teams that sit back because their front 4 are all small in stature and relatively weak. Saying that, their technical brilliance will see them through most matches.

we battered city at OT last season

is sterling and de ginger suddenly going to make this joke of a team more consistent?

remains to be seen. let the winter kick in alongside a few injuries and we shall see.

lol, this must be your best case scenario.

Pellegrini must have wanted Sterling and Kevin that bad to pay that kind of money. Its amazing the likes of nasri, bony and delph will be lucky to get game time.

Fernandinho is actually a good player... high energy levels, good passer and now seems to be venturing higher up the pitch... most City fans will tell you he is good.

That's when they bring up Kolarov and Zabaletta as full blown wingers and play Toure and Bony up front.

Don't you "us" me son.

This is the first team that has made Wenger go down the bus parking route.

Is he really though, you could get better

Who's hand would you bite off for second? All six of them?

I can't think of many better than him for what he does for us. He has to cover a lot due to being alongside Toure.

The myth about us is if aguero or Toure is out, then we struggle. It's more if Fernandinho is out or going through a loss of form like last season.

Silva is more important to you than Toure or Aguero.

In fact, you're in the best form for some time and Aguero is fluffing every chance he gets.

To question the quality of that set of players is pure delusion.

You could argue that all would get into our side over the players we have.

Let's just try and worry about our own issues though.

City are the team to beat this season, dumb down their quality all you want, but they are a frightening prospect.

When did 'decent' become the term for really good players.
Was keano decent for example.

I agree busby.

Toure - Jones is better
Fernandinho - Sneijnderlan is better
De Bruyne - Janujaz is better
Silva - Depay is better
Sterling - Valencia is better
Aguero - Rooney is better.

We could fieled two 11s that are better than the whole of the City starting 11

City have amassed a very strong first X11, no doubt about it. Couple of areas are a bit wanting, in depth, but with the right combo of form and luck, that team will go a long way.

As things currently stand, the gap has widened by quite an amount. We can only hope that our wildcards hit form fast and the likes of Schweinstieger take the league by storm.

Id settle for 4th way I'm feeling right now.

I am pretty sure Scweinsteiger is legally disabled.
