We don't sign a Reus or Griezmann by tomorrow I will be very disappointed

So our wing/no.10/striker options at the moment are:

Depay, Young, Mata, Herrera, Rooney, Martial, Fellaini.

That's 7 players for 4 positions (and herrera and fellaini are natural CMs). Considering LVG always harps on about needing 2 players per position, it does seem awfully strange that he's just removed 3 attacking players (5 this summer) from his squad and only brought in 2 (Memphis and Martial)

This window has to be the strangest one i can remember.

I reckon we have gained a clear run at Berahino, if other targets don't come in tonight (eg, Greizmam)... My wildcard guess of the day.

Find it a bit strange that Januzaj can be deemed important enough to start 3 of our first 4 games, but then so easily shipped out on loan.

Did i not read something earlier either on another thread or twitter where his general attitude was questioned. Perhaps a year on loan might be the kick up the backside needed if indeed there is a problem?

I don't. I've said before that I think LVG wanted to see Adnan in that role while the window was still open. Same reason he played Memphis there - and LVG actually confirmed this with the latter.

If thats the case, I hope LVG then lets Mata have a run out in the number 10 spot, where he can have Depay and this new kid running either side of Rooney, giving him actual passing options. I won't hold my breath though.
