...............on to Lennon then

I've seen this kid play a few times aswell, if we can get him for 4-5m then thats a good deal for me and we have some winger rotation going on now with him, Deulofeu and Mirallas are we happy with him coming in? TOOR - can you tell us anything re lennon?

The great performances that Ramiro has kept on delivering for more than a year now meant we knew that sooner or later there was going to be an offer for him that neither River nor he would be able to refuse."

That's not a bad reference considering he didn't play much Toor.

Well let's see. I'd like to see the defender that started ahead of him in the PL, Balatta, he'd be a perfect fit but he'd most likely cost a fair bit more than Mori.

Well Martinez won't be the first to waste money on average/rubbish CB's on Merseyside

Yeah, stay clear, you've a better player in Delefeu who isn't starting games yet, so why buy a player to be further down the pecking order, than a better player you have, who isn't starting?

A case of why buy firminio(sp) when you already have coutinho and lallana. Why buy Lovren when you have Toure

Or why buy Benteke whe similar big lumps up front like lambert and Carroll where shipped out as the clubs style clashed with having a huge unit up front

Okay I will briefly humour you here - squad depth & rotation, better than McGeady, proven premiership player, puts in a shift and a half, value for money at 4.5million, you sure you watch alot of football?

Or why buy Benteke**

Benteke's injured already

If that's true then you should have got him in. He looks like he's suit the league, he's very good on the ball, quick and a good defender.

Lallana plays on the left, Coutinho central and Firmino so far on the right. Benteke is different the the ones you mentioned as he has pace also, which suits us, with the players we have in the attacking areas.

15 minutes left boys,I won't be happy if we don't sign a decent number 10. I don't think we're much stronger than we were last season, even if we buy Lennon. I still think a striker is needed,I'm terrified of losing Lukaku to injury.

I agree, said this a few days ago - looks like Rodriguez is the only striker coming in after all

Let's hope so. Obviously I completely disagree having seen him play on a good few occasions. We'll see.

Another player who would probably struggle. Although similar in stature to say Coutinho, he doesn't have the same fight. I thought he'd be a star by now but hasn't kicked on.
