Doubt he'll be too fussed....run down his deal....more money as a free agent in a years time.
Looking forward to Don's article too
This has to be it for levy now. Get someone in who can get the players in. Levy can project manage the stadium. If that's still happening.
Yeah levy has done wonders for us as a business.....but Fooking next too useless ⚽ wise.....!!!!
I dont blame Levy for refusing to be ripped off by Albion, we will be OK with our squad and could get Berahino for a lot less money in January or even another maybe even better striker.
I just feel a bit sorry for Berahino, had his dream ruined and been forced to stay at Albion.
Don't feel sorry for the boy....he'll get his way eventually.....plus as I Said on the TDD thread....hes seem a bit arrogant and troublesome.
Why would Levy be blamed, he has offered apparently £23 million, which is well over the top for a player that is worth about £15 million tops. Not his fault if WBA don`t want to sell.

Are we not just going to do the same thing in January? Leave it until the last day to do anything, with Levy playing hardball again? That's if we're still struggling by then. If we're actually doing ok, don't expect us to do anything, even if we still need to.
We can blame levy because he has left it to the last minute again, if we had known all this weeks ago we could have got someone else surely
Berbatov is available on a free. Has to be a serious option for Spurs now/
It's hard to deal with someone who's arrogancy is beyond belief...This Jeremy Pearce was not willing to listen to any offers even if the offer is beyond what the fee was, just because the offer involves staggered payments...
This was just a personal war from Pearce. He never wanted to sell the player, but wanted to show the player that he is listening to offers...
I think Pearce strongly believes in Berahino's ability and wants him to stay there...
IMO, Pearce would have used any excuse not to sell the player...
That's probably the discussion he had with the player on Thursday....
Pearce dressed it up as standing tall against "bigger" clubs....but he never wanted to sell the player.
Full stop.
You've heard it here first
Berahino though should have never gone to the media to vent his feelings...
That's criminal
Fans pay your wages, so why make them angry by saying things like this?
He's blamed for leaving it all soooo Fooking late....surely west brom told him a ball park figure.....and he shlda had a back up plan.

That may be overpriced for him, but perfectly fair in a generally overpriced market. £15m for a young, promising English striker is too low given so many other players' prices.
i dont blame levy for not getting berahino…
but no fall back option? in the whole of european football?
Just spent £40m on 2 forward players. Shored up the back and haven't looked that bad so far this season.
Not a bad window.
N'Jie apparenly played upfront before, Son the same.
Not ideal, but we'll get by just fine.
If Berahino had spoken out earlier then may have had a different outcome, but can't condone the way he did as we'd be up in arms if it was one of our players.
We'll do alright this season, top 6 again, and hopefully a run at the cups.

probably right.
we need son and njie to be success though
It's funny that since people have peer-pressured you into coming out and slandering Levy.
Shocking by Levy and the club.
Levy - Playing this nonsense game of waiting and waiting and waiting and expecting clubs to bow down to us and submit to our wishes as if we run European football or something.
The club - Is our scouting department so poor that the only players they've been able to identify as potentially attainable targets, are basically the same names that us fans have been able to identify? Who do we send our CV's to if that's the case?

I gather Crystal Palace did, but he turned them down. Leicester also had an offer of £12 million turned down by QPR earlier in the window.
