Declaring this squad to be the greatest thing since sliced bread isn't going to help either, since we , the supporters, are fairly insignificant when it comes to the club (especially given the continual long queues for season tickets). Best to let people vent their frustration in the manner and medium of their choice, so that they can sit back and enjoy (hopefully) the football season
arsenal fan tv started it when they started saying about the stat, they have never been seperated before, then again the fa cup was a big thing to win before we won it 2 years ago too, we are gamechangers
I think people are right to be frustrated, as we are close to winning the league, in theory. But the reaction has been a bit over the top. People are acting more as if we've sold our key players. We still have a good squad, one that if fit, can challenge for the league. We are slightly stronger than last year. With cech, and coq from the start. Won't win the league, but we can give it a good run.
We need to get behind the team now. And not let the Emirates turn into a toxic atmosphere full of over grown kids throwing tantrums because they didn't get the present they wanted

No-one is suggesting that we say we are the best because we're not. All I'm saying is that what's done (or not done) is done (or, again, not)! And nothing will change until at least Jan... but even then, knowing AW, he'll carry on as usual until summer (when he'll go all out at the Euros!).
I get the frustration. I feel it too. I'm just thinking - perhaps more for the atmosphere at games than here online - that now its about getting behind the team we DO have and willing them to do their best, in spite of AW and the board.

AW is now totally at the mercy of team performances. None moreso than at the next game. The players are going have to step up here. They want a nice atmosphere to play in, they had better hammer Stoke. A well fought close win won't do it and god forbid a loss. That will see the team booed off and the crowd livid at Wenger.
He's effectively placed huge faith in his players. They now have to stop the comedy we've seen so far and deliver like we know they can.
True. And whilst I don't see the harm in them getting involved in the more social aspects of the club, I think it's time for that to really be put to one side so they can focus on delivering. I'm not one to say that making promo videos or larking about with a photographer's camera means a player isn't serious but when you see the results you do and all you get from the players are selfies, it leaves a bit of a sour taste...
