Worked wonders for a certain Mr Beckford.
Abit different to beckford
He'd only played low non league football
Erwin has played a lot at Scottish premier
Can't of shown a lot in training
Which is slightly surprising and disappointing
Hopefully will help
Makes you wonder why we bought him then
I was wrong about Erwin, I said he'd do well to score 5 goals, he'd do well to get 1. No names (LIW) but some on here said we was going to be our top striker this season
I would have liked him to have played against Doncaster and came off the bench a few times though. He looked good in pre season
Never said he'd be our top striker
Said I'd thought he'd play wide in a three
Very surprising
He did well in the youth games, so im surprised too. I can only hazard a guess and say he is going to get competitive games.
Its league one clubs he is being linked to, Bradford being one. He is behind 2 players who are being effective right now so it could be said its to get him some proper games under his belt.
I've said it before when on this subject, why should someone go to another club when surely they'd benefit more playing and training around the player's their with day in day out!..
It also gives the other club a chance to see them and if they like each other it opens the door for talks, a good way of losing a player!.
Stick him around the first team and let him learn from them, that way he'll be learning how people around him play, and it'll help him mix in with the team!.
Really wanted this lad to get a first team run out, the lads up here reckon he has shedloads of potential
This is the bit that says why it is occurring
"The Whites are prepared to let the Scottish striker leave on a short-term agreement to get minutes under his belt"
Quite simple really, isn't it
We are very light up top.
Wood
Antenucci
Doukara
Erwin
That's it. Must be a short term loan with a recall clause surely.
To think we have only doukara putting pressure on is worrying. He's offered nothing again this season.
So much for Uwe's rotation system...really disappointing that he wasn't even used as a sub for a few minutes.
Makes you wonder why we bought him then

I agree, H, I sit here and wonder, "Hmmm, why did the club state he wasn't really going to be involved this season and more one for next season and then loan him out". MADNESS!!!

I agree matey Pro what do you think?
"Hmmm, why did the club state he wasn't really going to be involved this season and more one for next season and then loan him out".
Makes you wonder don't it...? Perhaps they just want him to go out on loan for a short time to get some minutes under his belt....?
How controversial would that be.
I don't see the problem.
Wood and Antenucci are in great form at the moment so rather than letting him rot on the bench, let him spend a few months somewhere where he can keep up his match fitness.
I don't see the problem either if it gets him some competitive game time. I'd prefer him to get a run out here but I'm not Rosler.
Obviously his face doesn't fit
Besides, we can always recall him if we need to.
Just makes me wonder, obviously the scouts have done research on the kid & to my mind there is no point in buying unless it is as good or better than what we already have.

How does it stay on then...?
Who would have thought the club stating that a player isn't in the immediate term plans and then sending him out on loan would cause such a stir.

In certain recognised quarters on here it is inevitable.
