Had about 15 games with a friend last night. Really, really good. Quite possibly the best I've played.

Bit more responsive than the demo. All a bit 'sharper'. It's harder to get clear goal scoring chances but when you do it is so satisfying. Shooting is great. Passing is fantastic. It's a quick game - makes for some very entertaining games. The physicality is very good and you get some real battles in midfield.

Commentary is awful... That's the only way I can fault it. So much fun to play.

I'm going to have a few hours tonight playing after a busy weekend.

Will return to editing kits later in the week I think, just want to enjoy playing a few games.

1Man have you finally had a chance to play it, you must be desperate by now

It's a shame the transfers weren't sorted out in time for release, a little sloppy that and only gives the Fifa boys another stick to beat it with.

PES has always been the better game for playing with a mate, perfect for it.

Agree with the physicality and physics of tackling, shoving and grappling etc it's great to skip over a tackle and stumble a bit, only to keep your balance and get a shot away.

As you say, on a hard difficulty level or against a friend of a similar standard, it's a great feeling to carve out a good chance from nothing.

Just haven't gotten round to it yet, we had my daughter stay over at the weekend and the missus pulled rank about going to game!

Went to game yesterday and it was like £50 totally out of budget, as we are moving house etc...

I think within a couple of weeks, if not sooner I will have it

For now you guys are the pioneers!

So is it better on the actual game too?

Mike I love doing the kits etc, its all part of the experience. So when you get a FIFA head come round they clutching at straws for what they can argue about to put PES down about

Notso - whats you PSN buddy?

I agree I did enjoy doing the kits, probably not so much the second time though

One thing, when editing the kits using the imports from pesuniverse the kit markings (numbers/lettering) stayed as default so had to be manually changed.

I thought this was part of the kits that would be pasted in?

Yeah I would've thought that

Ah well when its done (and you save ) then its done for good

Not on PSN yet sorry, will get round to it at somepoint!

Yep

Have you done all the kits yet?

Wanted to get the anniversary edition (to get Neymar and a TotY player) thinking I could get it on Xbox One, it arrived but turns out it's PS4 try it out on my dad's and the TotY player is Messi.

Now seriously considering getting a PS4 just for that...

My account is Whack-A-Nacho if I do.

That's unfortunate though, Messi and Neymar in your team but no means of playing with them

I would suggest getting a PS4 anyway however

Yeah I'm moving in with some mates next week so going splits on the amazon.fr deal. £290 for the C-Chassis 1TB PS4 along with FIFA 16 and MGS V.

Struggle to do much better than that for a while I think.

posted on 21/9/15

Can't knock that deal really, good price and to get MGS as well is great.

posted on 21/9/15

Yeah very good deal!

Probs having FIFA with it has brought it down in price

Hopefully within the next month we can see where we are at and do a mini tournament or something

Haha I'm one of the few who seems to enjoy both although FIFA winds me up more, particularly when I'm on my own. Can still be a laugh with mates if you both agree to not do the standard abuse techniques (i.e. pace and knock across goal). FUT and scripting does my nut in though.

Hope the become a legend mode on this one is more like PES 2013 though, had so much fun on that one.

I like FIFA don't get me wrong, I've had a lot of fun playing FIFA over the years...

But yeah playing constant pace abusers does your nut in!

I played 4 or 5 games online last night on the 'quick match' (online 1 off game that doesn't affect your stats).

Maybe I was just lucky in who I faced, but it seemed such a nicer place to be than Fifa. Every game I played involved good build up of attacks from myself and the opponent and felt like a real game of football. No 'routine' goals or rehearsed plays that can be exploited over and over again.

Also, I had no restrictions on team abilities so could have faced anyone, but I didn't play a Barca or Real once

It doesn't appear to have such a huge advantage to have the better team here, if you're patient and play the right way you can create chances against anyone. Although someone did score a 40 yard scream with Zlatan past me.

Very happy so far with the online and with my choice to return to PES
