We should play the team that played stoke imo. I know you don't rate Cazorla that highly but he is important to our style of play and with Ozil usually quiet in the bigger games we'll need Cazorlas extra creativity

And it was Kos who lost Costa last year not Per
Ozil + Ramsey + Ox all liable to give the ball away easily and allow Chelsea to destroy us on the break.

Santi lacks the engine and physicality for this type of game
----------------------
Unlike Ozil who is known for his physicality and engine
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ozil is our final 3rd dictator, you only have to see our game vs N'castle to see how much we missed his ball retention in high areas.
If Theo starts central then I don't worry about Ozil's creative contributions, a willing runner is more than enough for him, I'd only worry if Giroud starts instead as seen midweek his game heavily declines when paired with the lamp-post, regardless creativity in the deeper positions won't be necessary, I'd rather have strong MF base and Ramsey's capabilities of scoring from central in big games far outweigh the twists and turns Cazorla may give us.
The only thing we'd regret by dropping Cazorla is if we get a penalty

Merts was nowhere to be seen, was on the half-way line. Kos was chasing in the end because he was the only one with a remote chance of catching him.
What someone as slow and pathetic as Per is doing on the halfway line I'll never know but thankfully Gabriel has put an end to watching that mess every week, delighted he's been replaced 1 of few positives this season
Dropping Santi? Really OP ?

Add Cazorla to that, particularly this season. He can be so sloppy.

Wtf are you talking about, should Per be holding his hand? Kos lost Costa that is a fact. Kos is quicker than Costa so being beaten by a long ball like that was poor defending from him. Per has his faults but he did nothing wrong. Kos gave away a penalty and lost Costa and the same match. He is capable of having crap games, he had another one on Wednesday
Any defensive errors last year were mainly down to Merts/Ospina case closed.
