Henry did better late in the game but I don't believe one pass of his found a Wolves player in the first hour. And Ojo just looks like a little boy lost. Talented but just doesn't know what to do to make an impact on the game
Just waiting for Officer Dibble to arrive with his customary rebuke....
Golbourne and sako were an excellent pairing down the left, complemented each other very well.
Golbourne looks lost these days, not helped by the shambles going on in front of him on the left I am sure.
Martinez. 8. Best game for us so far. MotM even without the penalty save
Iorfa 7. Rather see him there than Doherty
Hause 6
EEL 6 both centre backs make me nervous. Need Batth back soon
Golbourne 6. Would have been 7 except for the most blatant penalty I've ever seen
Edwards 7. Does as it says on the tin.
Coady 6. Not been the same since the first couple of games. Clear red card from what I could see. Would probably drop him for KMac if he hadn't made the decision for us.
Henry 7. Picks himself just for his effort
Ojo 6. Better in the first half. Drifted out of the game later
Afobe 6. Better with someone ahead of him. Looked out of it when he went up front
ALF. 6. Didn't do too much for me
KMac 7 would have picked him next week anyway
Byrne 6. Put himself about for a short while
Kenny 7. Picked the right side and actually handled the subs quite well
Poor game. 0-0 the right score. On that showing would be surprised if either of those teams finished in the top 6
Jackett was 'allowed' to leave Swansea at the right time - they had a plan and he had done his job. The did the same with Martinez and the same with Sousa, Rodgers and Laudrup.
If Wolves want to go the academy / scouting unknowns way, whilst building a carpet football philosophy, then Jackett needs to go TONIGHT.
If Wolves want to doss in the Championship for many years with no growth, no direction, no philosophy, then Jackett needs to STAY.
Please work out what you want and then go eat a sandwich or something.
The worry though, Uncle Herb, is that we're only a couple of points above the relegation zone.
It's like Kenny says. He is still trying to find the the right blend within the team.
As soon as he stumbles across it (albeit with a weaker squad than last season) then we will be ok.
Why is anyone worried??
Seriously getting concerned with Kenny if I am honest.
His selections are simply uninspiring and anyone with an ounce of skill or pace looks likely to sit out.
If he goes 4-4-2
Byrne, price, kmac, Henry/wallace(I would play Graham)
.........afobe, ALF
Or 4-2-3-1 which would be better.
........price, kmac
Byrne, Afobe, Wallace
...........alf
I agree things look quite disappointing but I still think that these players can play individually and as a team much better than they are. Everything seems to have gone pear shaped since the QPR debacle. We need Batth back. Toss up whether Hause or EEL makes way probably the latter. Otherwise keep the defence as it was today. Might be a blessing in disguise that Coady is going to be unavailable. We need KMac back playing his best. That will probably be alongside Edwards for the time being. Henry is worth his place in the team. Not sure about the left side. Maybe give Byrne a start or perhaps RVLP another go with Henry on the left. Not impressed with ALF today but then he wasn't much worse than most of them. Think we need to give Enobakhare a chance.
Cinci I don't think Kenny is going to drop Edwards any time soon.
Hence my concern wulfrun.
His best position and only position he should be considered should be behind the striker and that would mean no Afobe in most people's eyes, so he needs to be on the bench.
As a full international, it would look odd if Edwards couldn't get in the side. His standing probably makes him one of the first names on the team-sheet, which does make me wonder why Ikeme has been dropped.
Sometimes players need a new guiding force, and such a "new broom" can stimulate a revival. Hard to contemplate, but I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't a scenario that some fans will be considering.
Edwards is the captain, at least until Batth returns so he's unlikely to be dropped any time soon, nor should he. From the game I saw, Edwards was decent in the midfield and his energy was important especially when we needed to cover the sending off.
Ameobi to train with Wolves:

Our best games last season came with price and kmac in midfield, we also know kmac had the second or third most assists in the league last year and Afobe worked well of his vision.
Not trying to reinvent the wheel here, just pick the best players in their best positions.
If you are happy will dull, uninspiring football, then lets just keep it as it is.

He's the latest scapegoat on MolMinx. One guy, called WolfJoe, so I assume he's from the US of A, criticises/ criticizes him in almost every comment. The site only needs pitchforks. I don't join in, but its fascinating to observe the members posts.
our problem is jacketts incompetence,
the incompetence that took us from top 2 to top 6 to outside the playoffs last season.
the incompetence that has done nothing to counter the loss of sako
the incompetence that signs a string of midfield nonentities
the incompetence that drops, brings in and moves players positions with no result other than wrecking team spirit
Not sure why you feel threatened by Molmix bute, it is a very good site with a lot of very good posters.
Jesus christ, we are 7 games in 7, we are 4 points froma top six place and have played a game less than most.
For gods sake get a grip
You're right Amiga, everything will be fine. We're on the right track, the academy is delivering and the stadium looks great. What's the problem?
I can see us winning this league if we get more points than any other team.
Yeah you are right amiga, at least the performances have been strong so we have that to cling to.
I think Cyp the biggest problem sometimes is the fans, some are writing off the season already, which is frankly laughable.
Just checked the league and I was surprised to see that Wolves are not top. We are 18th. 12 points off top. I don't care about the top 6, I want us promoted and the only way to guarantee that is being in the top 2.
amiga,
my advice is when you see something brown and it smells then dont kid yourself - its schitt
Don't think that any fans are writing the season off, but it's been a disappointing start after a disappointing transfer window.
The "noises" coming out of Molineux are not particularly positive and fans are now seeing that the emperor isn't wearing any clothes.
