if we're loitering around in 11th place come January, afobe may be gone with any renewed premier league interest.
not happy times for me, which is why I think wolves need to take a bit of a punt on a couple of the young forwards if they really are close to first team. I've seen nothing in ojo so far to suggest he was worth bringing in ahead of jordan graham, or bright, and i'll be really disappointed if RVLP is selected to play up top, just a couple of weeks after jackett presumably said he wasn't good enough for the squad...or was that just moxey seeing the ££££ signs again?
club needs to get a grip, come out with a clear statement of its intentions and then show some fight. if it's young kids and budget players with a hope of developing a really good attacking side in three years then tell the fans in the summer. instead we talk about replacing sako all through august, then once the window shuts admit we could never afford to do so. and end up in the ludicrous situation for a side supposedly looking to improve on 7th place last season, where we go into today's game with one fit striker.
and don't even get me started on the idiotic comments suggesting siguradarson fit again in six weeks time might be the answer to our problems!
it's like watching arsene wenger-lite in the excuses and contradictions made not to sign players, the limitless pool of midfielders and the insistence on one approach to football. except for all his stubborn and illogical decision making, arsene has his team top four again and KJ simply isn't in that class.
No. Got a dog though. It was all him.
Kin'el, I come on 'ere to be excited and positive about the future and all I get is negativity and projectile vomit. It make me sick!
Plenty of negativity on 'ere this morning. That will all change when wolfie wakes up and brings some balance to the forum again. He said you would be going one better this year, and I for one agree with him.
In wolfie we trust.
Did you realise that "in wolfie we trust" is an anagram of I talk bolllocks?
Wolfie will be happy. I am one fan who will not be having a pre match beer.
I am having two beers, it soothes the pain.
Bright looks a good player from what I have seen of him gb but to me the problem is that him and Afobe would both be best feeding off Dicko rather than replacing him. We need to find a centre forward
lol sorry cyp
on the bright side - wolves to win 2-1 today

DJ,
agree, we need - and needed before the season started IMO and certainly once dicko got injured - a target man up front. someone to harass the defence, hold the ball up, bring in other players and get us 15+ goals in the season. even with dicko fit, we need that man.
but can you see us signing anyone who fits that bill? or will KJ just go for another 2nd div midfielder.
Blah blah blah doom and gloom,

Ambition perts ?
No more despondency folks. I'm on my way to the match as I type (the train is late mind). I will sort things out - if a job's worth doing . . . . .
What we need and what we sign do seem to be different things under Jackett generally.
Its like we have a lower league Arsene Wenger. Determined to try to play a passing game. Determined to bring through young players. Determined to bring in players to develop rather than the finished article. And determined to help the board stay within budget.
But not prepared to go out and get whats needed to achieve the current target. For Arsene winning the Premier League and maybe the Champions League, and for us getting promoted.
apologies to perton for forgetting to ask permission to comment on wolves before daring to suggest that we've done a poor job with the squad so far this season.

wulfrunnut,
am away myself in an hour - sun is still out here and let's hope we get a good performance today and a win to cheer the crowds up.
as much as I don't think we've done well in the market, or in the back room so far this year, this is a weak league with no side looking great yet, and a lot of inconsistent results. if we play our best team and best game we can win a lot of matches.
Predicted 2-2 in the HCDM but I'm rubbish in that league. The actual score will be 2-1. Afobe and Dangerous Dave
Right, I've just popped two Imodium tablets and am off to the Hog's Head to watch the Arsenal game before moving on to Molineux.
Come on you Wolves!
brighton aren't THAT scary, Tam
Tonga are very scary aren't they ?
