I think he's a great squad player for you and with the way you've played in many games this season he's been vital to your quick attacks.
West Ham are developing a trend here, so, don't go thinking the result against Man City was a fluke
It's easy to pick on your players after a poor result .
Give West Ham credit instead of picking up on your players performance
I don't mind Navas and thought he did alright yesterday.
Aguero was far worse, as was Silva on Tuesday...

We understand what he brings to the team, providing the space for silva to exploit inside ,
However that doesn't excuse what a wretched footballer he actually is,his delivery from out wide is embarrassing and his composure in his fairly frequent one on ones with a keeper is simply inept
No I'm not a fan
Nothing to do with the result West Ham deserved their win and defended well.
This has been going on for about 13 months and the lad never learns, anything that comes good from the right comes from Zab and Sagna.
Navas time is up he is our weak link....Highly rated in Spain but they must not know how to defend crosses there

We've given West Ham credit for their performance but I don't see why we can't be critical of our players when we believe it's merited
I presume Ivanovic has been left alone on the Chelsea board whilst you've been showering palace and Everton with superlatives?
Spain obviously don't know much about football, good point.
Was he not top for assists for City last season too? Good when considering he only played half the time

It was a joke and no he wasn't our top assister last season.
Bony should be a bigger worry . He doesnt look interested . at least Navas is trying his best . it just happens to be Shlt
He was top, joint with Aguero.
Navas is the best 3rd/4th choice winger of any squad in the Premier League perhaps even the world.
Complain all you like about Navas, but how close will he even be to the first-team if Silva, Sterling, De Bruyne and Nasri are all fit and in-form x

Yes, I am not saying our fans aren't guilty of this.
And Yes , Ivanovic deserved the criticism he was getting, However , you can not compare the abysmal performance of Ivanovic with that of Navas.
Navas performance yesterday was no different to any other games he has been involved.
Had Man City won the game yesterday, no one would be talking about Navas performance yesterday !!
A lot of the crosses in were fine, it was lack of movement. Aguero is not playing with the confidence of last season and he was snatching at the ones that he did get on the end of.
Feels a bit to me like Navas is being used as a scapegoat. We missed him against Juventus.

Hmm, I think you'll find that most City fans have been saying the same thing over and over about Navas since he joined us. Great pace, good work ethic, absolutely no end product.
No, with our start to the season, with Stirling on the left, Navas on the right, it's brought about a balance in the team, especially when Silva plays off Aguero, but the fact that his end product has been so poor, from crossing or in one-on-one situations with a defender or keeper, his position in the team hasn't been under threat as we have been winning. However, the criticism for his technical ability certainly has, even when we won 5 out of 5.
We somehow have to find a balance to the team with our wide players, especially if Navas is dropped.
I think KDB will be wasted out on the wing and wouldn't necessarily stay wide. Silva is far better behind Aguero than on the left, so may we try Patrick Roberts, who has genuine pace, skill and has a brilliant end product, because he can still keep that width on the right which is crucial?
Or, swap Navas to the left and Stirling to the right. Navas would have to come inside with the ball then, as he cannot use his left foot, or he'll have to lay it back for Kolorov to cross, who is far better.
But, he has definitely got plenty of stick this season, regardless of our results - and deservedly so, especially when he has so many opportunities in a game to cross a ball freely, it's not like most of the time he is under pressure from a defender, he's not.

Could be wrong, but I'm sure I read he played the most mins last season for city.
Navas is frustrating - no doubt about it. Compouunded by having Zab out - although Sagna has done well. Would liker to see Roberts get a chance. The real worry is that four of the goals we have conceded have been since Vinny came off. Need to steady the defence.
I wouldn't say I'm a fan of his, but I will back him. He's a squad player, same as Adam Johnson was for us. Not his fault he's been played in games he's not suited to because others are injured.
Didn't navas play more minutes than any other city player last season.
I'm sure he did.
Criticise a player if he has a bad game, criticise the manager if he has a run of bad games but still gets picked.
Navas is one of your best players statistically. 15 chances created.

to be fair its quite an interesting comment, and unusually not about United. Navas doesn't feck everything up and his pace really unsettles full backs. It's just that the stuff he does feck up makes you want to tear your hair out. Like when he goes through on goal you just know he's going to screw it up.
