Given the reaction some of the stories about Corbyn have got from his fanbase, I do find the hypocrisy bordering on the ridiculous, particularly considering the source of this.
That's the modern day electorate, I suppose.

I'm no Labour fan (though, I will back Corbyn),

Hopefully you will be in a vast minority.

Why Labour were so weak at defending themselves on this I don't know
.................
Because they had no defence.

Hippo,
Hows things?
Germany related question for you.
I was watching Darmstadt v Bayern the other day, and there was this banner among the home fans in English saying Bild not welcome.
Any idea what that is about. I found it odd it would be in English.

Most of the Corbyn stories have been smear and misrepresentation of his politics + silly bits about his dress sense and so on.
No comparable barrage has been fired in the direction of Cameron over his politics (and there's incomparably more mud that will stick there). Pig-gate is a bit of light relief, frankly.
I was talking about the reaction of the electorate more than the press berba
This has all the hallmarks of smear too, in fact is identical to what Johnson did in the U.S.

Just venturing a guess seeing as Hippo doesn't seem to be around, it might be a twist on the "Refugees welcome" banners, which are generally written in English, I think. Perhaps Bild has taken an anti-refugee stance or summat.

Yeah, he was a stupid kid at Uni, so what?

Our Prime Minister face fooked a pig.
I can honestly say, in all my time at Uni when I was a stupid kid, the thought of any relations with anything non-human never crossed my mind.
