Doesn't matter, we will beat them regardless. South Africa apart, we will murder any other team on current form.

When do we even kick off the matches out there?

"We" ehh

Love it.

I would go with

Cook
Hales
Bell
Root
Bairstow
Ali
Stokes
Rashid
Plunkett
Broad
Wood

I expect Anderson to have a poor series (hope he proves me wrong if selected) on these flat pitches and conditions that offer very little swing, so I would pick our quickest hit the deck bowlers in the UAE.

Did no-one see the one day series? Hales has no form. Ali to open with Cook, Bairstow out, he's done nothing since been called up, Taylor in and bring in Rashid at 8.

Cook
Ali
Bell
Root
Taylor
Stokes
Buttler (K)
Rashid
Broad
Wood
Anderson

Could easily switch Ansari and Ali's positions.

Drop Englands all time leading wicket taker for Liam Plunkett????

I think given his 2015 County Championship form, Bairstow deserves to replace Buttler. Especially considering how out of touch Buttler looked against Aus and in particular against Nathan Lyon.

Taylor plays due to form in ODI's and spin playing ability.

Hales 2015 form again warrants a go.

Had a change of heart. Bairstow's keeping isnt good enough to play in the side as a specialist keeper.

I think they'll use Root as 3rd spinner to accommodate an extra seamer

Neither is Buttler`s

I just saw the ICC test rankings and Ballance is rated as number 32 in the world. Which isn't bad considering he had an awful time for England this year. I think his omission from ANY squad for the coming tours is just barmy! He IS a class batsman and will get over his problems, hopefully he will be on the reserve list. England need to stick with him

Ballance will be back once he has sorted out his technical issues. Butlers keeping has been good, its just his batting that has gone to pot.

Buttler's keping was excellent in the test seriesm, but do feel free to show otherwise...

Im not sure Ballance's technique and tempo match what this current set up.
