In regard to CFC’s silence, surely it would have made sense for them to privately apologise to Eva for JM’s mistake, reinstate her, and move on.
This all could have been done privately.
Eva was unable to return to “work” as she had effectively been prohibited from completing the role she had been doing since 2009.
She had been demoted. Indefinitely. For doing nothing more than doing the job she was paid to do.

Why do you continue to ignore the other injured party?
How is it possible that they resolved the issue there when they haven't been able to resolve the Eva issue?
Why is this being ignored?

I think this article from yesterday's Guardian answers your question:

Wouldn’t say it “bothers me” simply feel the matter has been handled atrociously by CFC.
The club have lost an (by all accounts well liked/respected by all) excellent Doctor, essentially to appease JM’s petulance.
But the general feeling amongst Chelsea fans is; as much as we'd have liked her to stay and be part of the clubs future, she has left the club to seek pastures new!
There's little we can do about it, irrespective of our feelings over it, so it's water under the bridge, and time to draw a line under the episode.
It then becomes surreal as to why others, who have no connection to the club, emotional or otherwise, don't seem to be able to let go of the nettle.
Seem to me it's just WUMs who will look for any excuse to have a poke at Chelsea to satisfy their personal vandettas - bit sad really!
No Brums . The whole world has morals but Chelsea FC and it's Fans
I know I certainly don't have any morals TCP
