No it's not the training schedules fault it's just a mitigating circumstance when in four competitions. Happens every year and then we go on a run. This has happened every season under Rodgers and is indisputable.

So despite the manager we keep finishing above great managers like Martinez and Koeman who also have a fantastic recruitment policy. Super strange.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He started with a vastly superiour side than compared to the two managers you list, however he has slowly lost players and replaced them with expensive dross.
well maybe Koeman had a slightly better side as Rodgers went all out for a few of his former players
Okay arouna and we'll finish above them again and that'll make everything you have written on this thread bollox.

Well we had six injuries up until Norwich, got a couple back and put in what I thought was a good performance creating many chances with a variety of attacking patterns.
I read somewhere that in the last 16 games Rodgers has got fewer points than Hodgson did in his last 16.
We've one 4 of our last 15 prem games. That's nowhere near even Europa form, it's bottom half bordering on relegation form. BR's time should be up, he's taking us nowhere.

In the last 16 league games we won 5, drew 4 and lost seven.
Five of those games were against Utd, Chelsea and Arsenal.
Why it isn't 24 games I don't know. Actually I do it's because we won loads.
In fact from the previous 24 games we won twelve, drew five and lost seven and played City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Utd seven times in that.
I hope this fits the agenda.
Drew 7 games sorry.
So two points a game is the target and from the 48 we took 43.
Awful, awful, awful.

Always said that Coutinho is a cracking player, but is markovic?
Origi?
Henderson has been a revelation and will be a big miss.
But the rest of Rodgers signings have been poor, Sturridge, well he has missed loads of games because he has biscuit legs....but if he comes back he will get 20-30 goals no doubt if he stays fit
Yes you said. We have signed poor players and have a rubbish manager that keeps finishing above teams with good managers and excellent recruitment policies. It all makes perfect sense Arouna.
Except it doesn't.

Well let's see where we end up shall we because so far we haven't played anyone twice have we. Sure people can take a certain set of results and I can take others but the only ones that matter are from August to May and it's fvcking September.

He won't be getting fired anytime soon unless we have an absolute disastrous run of results. With returning to 3 at the back we will get some results over the next period before it get's figured out, hopefully by then we will be playing better and can switch to a 442 diamond or something of that ilk.
The biggest problem for BR is even if we went on a great run of results, as soon as we loose or draw at home to a team we should be beating the knives are back out, if say we got to the FA cup final having beaten good sides along the way, then lost the final to a last minute goal through a bad decision or something BR will still get all the blame for us not winning it, he needs a minor miracle to get fans back on side at this point, but I just don't see him getting the chop anytime soon.
--
Dont you think some of the criticism he is getting is fair? If you were given the choice, would you like to see him sacked now?? Going by other fans, your fixture list, particularly away from home isnt the kindest, maybe a managerial change would do wonders for the players?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Ah yeah lots of the criticism leveled at BR is justified he's made lots of strange decisions and ultimatley a manager lives and dies by his decisions.
Personally I don't want him fired as I don't think we should have backed him in the summer with signings then sack up after 7 or so games, I can see signs of improvement and so therefore am willing to give him more time, but I accept I'm in a minority here.
Let's go the rest of the season, regardless of this early season mediocrity, and then reassess.
===================
Finally.

We came sixth and got to a couple of semi finals.
Not the end of the world unless you can think of a reason, any reason, why we should on paper come in the top four positions.
Can you?
