I'm surprised how many Brits appear to want Fury to lose this fight. Is it because Fury used to insist he was Irish. Nothing against Ireland of course, lovely country, but a strange thing to say for a lad who was born and raised in Manchester.

Does Fury have a chance? Only if he can land a huge punch on Wlad and I don't think that Wlad is going to allow him to touch him.

The fight itself will be a very boring one sadly. Wlad will fight cautious and be ultra defensive staying behind the jab and Fury's far too slow to cause Wlad any problems if Wlad fights that way, which he inevitably will.

These press conferences are going to be far more entertaining than the fight itself.

Sorry Superb ,but I have to disagree,I don't think Vlad has any reason to be overly cautious against this guy. I'm pretty certain that it will be an early KO for Vlad, and then Fury (ridiculous name for the man,but there you go )can do us all the favour of retiring .

I think he has reason. Say what you want about Fury's boxing ability but at the end of the day he's a 6"9 powerhouse and if he is able to connect with a big punch then things will get very interesting indeed.

I'm not saying that Wlad isn't going to hit him. He's going to look for counters when the opportunities arise, but first and foremost he's going to fight cautiously and use his jab advantage (Wlad has a much better jab than Fury).

Superb

British fans going against fury are doing it purely because of his trash talk. How you can support wlad who is a robot in the ring and outside it is beyond me. Fury winning the belt would do so much for british boxing.

I'll be supporting Fury, but I'm not expecting a win or even a particularly good fight.

The HW division desperately needs a new Champ but I don't think that Fury is the man for the job sadly. I'd love to be proved wrong though.

I won't be supporting Fury ,for the simple reason that he demeans boxing in this country. As my old dad (an old pro) says, he takes dignity from a noble sport .
Come on Vlad.

Guvnor , what is he ? your boyfriend or something !.The bloke is a complete palooka (as my dad would say).

Having been involved in a reasonably successful business for quite a few years , I fully understand the monetary issues involved !
Oh that we could bring some dignity back to a great sport .

Fury is a scared man no matter what he says, he's more nervous than Vlad
Hope Fury does well but can see him getting knocked out

I agree that Fury looks the more nervous of the two and I can't help but feel that Fury is trying to mask his nerves with these antics.

It's not fooling Wlad though, he's seen these kind of shenanigans before with the likes of David Haye and Shannon Briggs. It's nothing new to him.

Fury on the other hand is new to this level of fight. He's never been in a fight anywhere near as big as this and sadly it shows in my opinion.

Wlad does seem to be taking in his stride
Looks very calm to me
He's been here before and like you said Fury hasn't
Could get ugly at the weigh in
Good fun though

Is Tyson Fury a better boxer than Vlad? No. Is he a bigger hitter than Vlad? Maybe. So Tyson's only real hope is for Vlad to abandon his usual jab orientated defensive fight plan (the one that has won him loads of titles), and try and get into a tear-up. Vlad's also a better athlete so Tyson needs to get him early, otherwise the athleticism will show as the fight progresses.

Its about the fighter who has the mental strength to follow through on their plan, hence Tyson trying as hard as he can to get Vlad riled.
