Martial looks good but I have no complaints regarding Pedro

I haven't really seen Pedro play for Chelsea other than him scoring that goal on his debut.

How is he doing?

It should have been Pedro and Martial to be fair.

Always looks lively and he walked into a side playing their worst football for years. Had a quiet game vs Arsenal but hes looked our most dangerous attacker since arriving tbh. Picked up a goal last night

I had never heard of Martial before we moved swiftly to get him, and even then, I didn't know what position he was going to be used for.

I'd have loved for us to get Pedro, but seeing as we're playing Martial as a no. 9, then I definitely wouldn't change how things have worked out.

If only we had a 24/25 year old Beckham on the right these days.

I'm happy with what we've done.

And I said this before he'd kicked a ball for us.

Unknown 19 year old who can rule the world potentially, or a seasoned pro who's won everything and has nothing to prove?

After Falcao and ADM, it was a no brainer for me.

Truth is we should have signed both. Pedro would be a better / different option to what we currently have. Mata, good as he is, simply wouldn't offer the same balance in our attack as Pedro. Then you have 2 good options for two roles.

Sure he's been out of position, but that's the game today, you've got to be able to alternate, even in Louis' strict system

A player no doubt, just not one of my favourites. He plays like his character - too nice and a bit of a pansy.

Well he scored a good chunk of goals for us and had great conversion rate while he has been here. He is very creative too.

Mata this season 2 goals 2 assists.
Most Chances Created: Mata (13 Chances Created: 2 Assists and 11 Key Passes)
Top Assists: Mata (2 Assists)

His goal scoring seems to have improved but in his last full season for us he picked up 20 assists in the league and Europe combined. Thats what he can do at his best

And obviously with the tactics of the managerial GOAT that is Benitez

Let's be honest, you were in for Pedro. Just that you couldn't get him so the comparison is based on a fallacy. However, going in for Martial looks like a stroke of genius so far.

I don't think it was a case of one of the other. I think Pedro was a back-up option to a top player, who also didn't work out.

Had Chelsea not come in for Pedro I think we'd have both.

But yes, I'd prefer to have signed Martial given the choice. Based on his last 4 games, it would be foolish for anybody to disagree.

I thought Pedro was to expensive for the age he is at and him not being a standout player.
