I don't care what formation we play at all. But if Clementinho ever plays Baird in midfield again ahead of Hendrick I will be knocking on his door. Baird was utter rubbish. About as mobile as 666 and vision of Spart. When Hendrick came on it was game won. Martin coming of I 100% agree with. That was exactly the right time to bring Bent on...not like the other night when we were on top. Last 20 minutes we dominated and only Carson "doing a Wolves" caused us panic. To win 3-1 playing like that for 70 mins is a fantastic result. Ince getting man of the match was a joke but he got the win for us. That's Tom Ince...hes Marmite

PC's got a problem with his skipper. Christie is outperforming him and the midfield is better without him.
Tough call for the chief coach.

Thats his problem Ang if he named him captain. He cant pick him on that alone. I think Thorne will be fit next week and Christie is playing well so Baird has to sit down. I feel Hendrick will play ahead of Butterfield too.

Clement has said that Baird being captain doesn't guarantee a starting place. Christie has done very well recently but he does sometimes look a touch naive and I expect Baird will be like Warnock and get some occasional game time when Clement thinks experience is required.

Hanson should be Thorne's back-up if we play a single defensive midfielder. He is better technically, a better passer and more athletic than Baird, plus he will get better. If we play a holding two then it's Thorne and Johnson and if It's three in midfield then Hendrick, Butterfield and Bryson can fight it out for the third place.

A positive: some managers, like Pearce at Forest last season, start well with their up and at 'em philosophy but soon get sussed and haven't the ability to go beyond that. Clement does not have the CV he has without being an absolutely top-drawer coach. Sometimes it takes players a while to get on board with some of the sophisticated and subtle ideas that come with that. Clement won't run out of ideas like some. When the team settles into itself a bit more we will see slicker play.

Maybe.

Maybe he has to dumb it down a bit for the players to understand.๐Ÿ˜—

We were fine once Keogh was captain.

I noticed that Marco. Captain Fantastic. Martin has been a shadow of his former self burdened with the captaincy.
