I guess the question is - are we the next newcastle?

To be honest, a lot of managers wouldn't have played so openly against Arsenal - we played our usual high tempo, energetic game and got carved open.

If it gets us more points than last season though - I'm ok with that. A big IF though!

When I say the next newcastle - I mean under Keegan. Not this one!

Onwards and upwards
Norwich will be a tough nut to crack.
Maybe we will see the reintroduction of 352
Something has to happen with the defense that's for sure

Great match guys. Best of luck for the rest of the season

I've no doubt at all it would see us beat last seasons points total BS
I still think 10-12th would be an excellent achievement and we are well on our way to that.
lol forward to every game we play right now. Bring em on

Ranieri has proved he can make the right changes when necessary. He did it to brilliant effect during the Villa game and I'm sure he'll do something similar ahead of the Norwich game.

We lose to the eceptional talented Arsenal playing football and passing through our midfield and exposing our aging defend and poor keeper and only RDL came out with any pride today

Gay pride Nev?

I agree BS, Ranieri has shown some fantastic tactical awareness this season. Will he always get it right? Of course no, no manager in the world always gets it right, that's football.
There is NO easy games in this league that's for sure.
We have an excellent and talented squad and our football is so exciting to watch.
We brush ourselves down, regroup and go again.
Fancy us to win next weekend. Enjoy the weekend folks

Nev put down the tissues and photo of RDL down. Lol

All good with hindsight and bond of us thought it after 15 minutes but Ranieri got it wrong today.

We were way too open and against a good team, we got punished. We can't continue to give that much space to top teams. We also cannot keep operating with 4-4 in defence and midfield. It leaves us far too exposed.

We went toe to toe with Arsenal today and the difference? Their quality in the final 3rd shone through.

So, 4-2-3-1 or 3-5-2 still feel the best use of this squad. Will Ranieri ever agree with us?

Will be interesting to see what we do against Norwich. Hopefully we bounce back and put in a good show.

Disappointing to get it so wrong today, but the defeat expected. Still a great start and we need to keep attacking whilst finding a way of tightening up at the back. Ranieri must be pulling his hair out with our defending at times!!!

Fair play to Arsenal, they were unstoppable today and I'm glad they were exceptional to beat us but I don't think we did ourselves any favours at all.

The defence needed addressing at half time but wasn't and then the substitutions were baffling to say the least. He got it all wrong today but we probably would have lost no matter what formation we played, though we were tighter under Pearson 😉

Ranieri still better than Wenger arro?

posted on 26/9/15

Even in our darkest spells we defended better than this.

posted on 26/9/15

That's what happens when you go at them from the off as it just tires the players out and leaves the defence exposed.

Digby today's win still won't win you any trophies pal
Top managers win trophies. Wenger will never be a top manager.

Wenger had better players at his disposal so no not really.

We knew they better players some time ago,so it means how you go about playing is even more vital.

I want Wenger replaced, but he used to be an elite manager.

3 PL titles
Record 6 FA Cups
1 French League
1 French Cup
Manager of the Decade Award
Built record-breaking teams on a modest budget

So when he won the league with the team he built without losing a single game he wasn't a top manager?
