Didn't catch the game as I was out with my son so will have a watch.

Can't wait to see MOTD later.

That was probably his best overall performance for us so far, just a goal was lacking.

Its refreshing to see he can combine composed finishing with good all round centre forward play.

He has added a new dimension to our attack and has gave us a pacy outlet we have been sorely lacking.

MARTIAL DIDN'T SCORE - BUT SET UP ROONEY
"I am very pleased with the performance of Anthony because he is not only a goalscorer, he is also an attacking point and he also prepares goals. So for us he is more important than I thought before he came."

MORE ON MARTIAL
"What I want of a striker is that he is an attacking point, that he is running in behind, preparing goals and running to the first post. These are not all the aspects of a striker, but Anthony Martial has done that today so I am pleased with his performance, but he can still be better and other players can be better.

Seems LVG loves him too.

He seems in control of his emotions, this was evidenced in the Liverpool cameo where he looked so focus.

So far, I'd say he has the mentality to go on and be one of the best players in the world. You don't insert Balon D'or clauses in for every signing, so a lot of people in the know feel confident he can reach that level. Here"s hoping! Without getting too carried away.

Yes. He seems to be much matured for his age. I believe even Memphis has that in him. But the high expectations are getting into his head.

He is showing unreal potential. Seriously, these performances at 19 year old...

Was worried the money was a panic buy..but only a bit. Woodward and co have been prone to some panic buy type situations and stupid transfer targets, but they did their home work on martial, looks like a great prospect (if you can even use that, as this far has looked the real deal).

Thought he would take a while to get going in the premiership. But fair play, he's looking quality so far. Remains to be seen if he can continue it. Often see with young players that they can't maintain it after an early hype. Even though it's annoying he plays for you guys, it'll still be good to see another top class forward in the league. Been pretty barren in recent years. But for footballs sake, I hope he does well

I meant the presure of playing for united and the expections from fans and media is making him error prone. But i can see he is equally talented and only needs one good game that boost his confidence like Martial got against liverpool.

And memphis has been good in European games.
