Any chance of Newcastle "beating" our 11 points, (we did get four of ours against them too)?

Griff, a glass half empty soul.

Igor, we'd rather have the 3 points and have to put up with you than t'other way round. 666 however..... πŸ˜‰

Just back from iPro

Competent and assured performance from Derby - MUCH improved.

Johnson was immense and bullied the midfield area to great effect, again....hear that? ...AGAIN Keogh was excellent, Thorne's ball to Hendrick for Ince's goal was sublime , Christie's cross for Martin's goal - just what we wanted, Russell, usual industrious self again.

It was a comfortable win - but a couple of mistakes nearly led to the kind of comeback that we've come to dread. Have realised why Shotton doesn't start

Hendrick looked good and the midfield of HTB looks good - let's try it next time

Assured and reassuring - should however have scored 4-5

Peeder, Black Country. When we have beaten a team of significant by 2 goals I will get excited. I remember coming back from charlton nearly 2 years ago after winning 2 nil and derby fans on the same train as me lecturing me about I was getting too excited as McClaren hadn't beaten any side any good in the league. Brentford are the worst team I've since we beat forest 5 nil and we weren't ruthless enough today. We have won 4 games. 3 against potential relegation teams and the 4th against 10 men.

Tell you what Hendrick put Jacob "its cost Evans his job" Butterfield in his place. £6m in total for Butterfield and Cloughs graduate as put him in his place

Griff, I take your point but (1) every team isof significance (2) if you win enough games, the GD doesn't matter.
The last time I can recall GD mattering in deciding a league was arsenal getting the 2nd v Liverpool back in the 80s.
Its always nice to score 5 of course but by all accounts today was comfortable enough.

I'm not one for conspiracy stories but there is something funny going on with Bent. Clement seemed rather negative when questioned and came up with the traffic excuse. You would think he would stay with his father in law, who has a pub near Derby before a home match.

I don't think he has had a strop after scoring last week and not being picked, but some might think that.
