Couts Benteke and Sturridge all left out of international games which is great news for us
Hopefully its a very minor injury...

First time international break is welcomed from me.
Was he injured during or before yesterdays game. He is a cracking player but had no impact on the game yesterday. Was looking forward to him testing our midfield/defence but he was a ghost of the player I have seen in the past

Every player was average yesterday from both sides. Worst derby game i have ever watched
Good, lets hope he is not actually injured, obviously.
Good, give him every chance to get over whatever the problem is hes got.
Hopefully we have Klopp in charge in the next few days, and as many players as possibly available to him to work with from day one.
We then go to Spurs with a slightly more invigorated and confident group of players than they have seemed to be of late.

Agree. No one a had good game. Poor defending led to both goals. Could have seen more goals again from mistakes from shaky defence. Everton though had a young defence apart from Jagielka but our experienced CBs were poor. Positives were didn't lose and we Rodgers finally gone
The best individual game cout had was behind sturridge vs newcastle
coutinhos best form for us was however in the title challenge season from the sides of the diamond.
three runners ahead of him to pick out, he was also tasked with closing players down and linking the play and he was magnificent, suarez raves about him in interviews, thats the cout he remembers.
Id like to see him return to that role and be more of a creator than trying to spank so many shots at goal, if he wants to operate higher up the pitch he needs to learn to finish the chances like he had vs norwich.
id rather he just gets back to feeding the front line
