Great finish yesterday, should give him the confidence in front of the oppositions goal.

He will probably score a hatful over the next week and bit.

I think he is a one season wonder.
There's been so many before him.

i think he scored too many different types of goals for him to be a one hit wonder.

Take your point about different type of goals.
I really hope I'm wrong, but we both remember when he was at Millwall- no one really rated him and we were all caught by surprise when he was so sensational from October onwards last season

Very good post

numbers 1 and possibly number 3 for me.

He is a top class player and we MUST persist with him.

Well he didn't start scoring until October last season so I'm not worried yet. Chronic dropping him to the bench would give his body a breather but be detrimental to his mental state I think.

Am liking this article from Mirror earlier in the year.

I don't mind either 1 or 3. If we played him behind the striker you might have to push Eriksen to the left. It's ok though, he can play there and take Chadli's place whose form isn't great.

The thing with Kane is that he's not low on confidence, I don't believe. In my opinion, he's just overthinking the situation and it's affecting him somewhat. Needs to try and relax.

Poch missed a trick not starting him against Qarabag. He could do with a fairly easy fixture at home with a team whose defence isn't the best, just to notch up some quick goals and relax him.

We don't really have any other options ( should have signed Berahino !!!!!!!) Keep playing him. We are creating chances..... He'll come good

Lamela---Kane---Eriksen
-------------Son

I'm sure if he's played like this for a few games playing well and getting the odd goal his confidence will grow and grow

As long as the team are scoring goals, and he is contributing with his overall play and by teams having to make provision for him, I'm quite happy for him to not be uber-prolific. He's not scared of having a dig, the determination is there but he is still overtrying. The downside to a player caring too much?

I don't think he should be playing any midweek football for a while now though, give him some days off in between.

His overall game has been good so I'd persist with him. The goals surely will come.

I'm also certain he isn't a one season wonder. Usually those players lack talent and got lucky with their goals. Kane has ability and is scoring for England. Though if he doesn't start scoring soon it might become a bigger issue

No offence to anyone but it is crazy to think Kane is a one season wonder.

The positioning is great, the movement is great Kane is simply working too hard. The goals will come though as I always say he is a reincarnation of teddy sheringham one of the smartest players on the pitch but a bit less technical ability.

We need to buy in January he needs at least one arguably two orthodox strikers just to help him along. Alternatively shove dembele back into the striking role for now.

Even at this stage Kane will still get at least 18 goals this season. No worries at all.

Good to see most fans behind him. Worse start to the season than Adebayor had last season to be fair

What do you think the best way to get Harry Kane back on his game is?

-

I think a measured bollocking by Poch wouldn't be a bad thing at some point in the near future. In fact, i would be surprised if he hasn't already taken him to one side and told him to think twice in certain situations.

Obviously he has a lot of credit in his locker after last season, and i think he is feeling under the pressure a little this season, what with being the only true striker in the squad. We shouldn't have let that happen but January will be here before we know it.

I kinda wish Soldado was still here to be honest

hmm.. another poor game from kane. still missing chances that he should be putting away.

its all good saying let him play through it, but at the moment if he cannot put the chances away we need to try someone up there who can.

Straight down the keeper's throat seems to be his speciality.

The goal v City just doesn't seem to have done the trick either. Personally he'd be getting this week off, resting up for Sunday. He's been on the go virtually from day dot, played some part in every match now plus England.

Nowhere near the squad on Thursday for me, regardless of lack of options.
