Well done Brendan, you've got more class than the club you've just left will ever have
For a man that gets labelled as David Brent and very pompous he's been nothing but classy since he joined and up till he left. Wish him nothing but the best at another club.

Christ.
I have worked every day to represent the club to the best of my ability, to develop both individual players and a team that the club’s magnificent fans can be proud of.
--------
Really? A team that loses 6-1 to Stoke and 3-0 at home to West Ham, is one the fans can be proud of?

You just can't help yourself, can you? You were clearly born a nob.
As Ron burgundy would say..........."Stay classy Brendan Rodgers"

Yeah, because we're the only team that's ever had really bad results Fortunately most of us aren't as fickle as Spurs fans, and generally stick with our team.

Those were particularly awful though, and they're fairly recent in Rodgers' tenure.
As for the developing of individuals....hmmm the less said the better.
Spurt is obsessed with those two results, particularly the Stoke one.
Anyway, I would have to say in retrospect, his team in 2013/14, played some of the best football I have seen Liverpool play since 1987, and some of the best football the premier league has seen in many a year.
I hope he gets a job at another good premier league club, hope he sticks to his philosophy and gets back to the positives of it high pressing entertaining football.
Unfortunately the good stable clubs are doing well with good managers atm so he should take a break and not rush back into work just wait for the right oppurtunity. Hes still one of the best british coaches around and hes still very young.

Yeah Rodgers was rubbish at developing players
Hes 42 ffs hope hes learnt a lot and uses it to aid himself in the future, he has potentially another 30 years of management near the top level if not the top level if he fulfils his potential.
Mixed feelings on his sacking, as I can understand why but at the same time was happy for him to stay on even perhaps finish the season with us.
Chelsea next for him is my guess.

If reports are to be believed, he's interested in coaching methods outside of the U.K (visiting other clubs, talking to to other coaches). Wouldn't surprise me if his next job were abroad.
Good statement he gets grief for stuff he says but he's a good guy, far less nasty then many managers can be in the press, he just says some daft stuff at times hardly a crime but easy for someone who doesn't like him or the club to have a pop over.
I wish him well and sure he will get a job quickly he's a good coach.
With hindsight, I think it's safe to say this job came too early for him. Another few seasons at Swansea and he could of been more prepared for a club of our size. Nothing to say he won't be back at this level in the future
Played some great stuff when we came close a few years back, good luck going forward saan.
He couldnt turn down the oppurtunity, just hope hes learnt a lot from it and takes the positives and moves on, hes 42 with a bright future as a manager still, hes alright is Brendan, wish him the best I honestly do. And a very nice statement from him too.
Good statement and good luck to him.
I think he would be better off in a lesser job for a few years to develop his style of play and regular formations and patterns.
A period out of the limelight would do him good IMO.
A job in Spain could suit him, he speaks the language and his style of football would suit.
Wouldn't surprise me if he went there get away from England for a while
He gave it his best, you can't say fairer than that. No silverware and nearly winning the title just wasn't good enough though.
Wish him well.
