Fair enough if true. At least Ancellotti was up front from the start. Shame though, as would have liked him at Liverpool.
I was edging towards Ancelotti to be fair when they were both named as favourites
I was in favour of him but I'm now heavily in favour of Klopp. Just his presence and personality will make a massive difference to the atmosphere at games I think and that can only be good. Plus Ancelotti's successes have mostly come at teams that are already successful. Klopp faces a similar task here as he did at Dortmund.
I think you will be better off with Klopp, Ancellotti although is a great manager i am not sure his hunger and desire is still there 100%.
He's been there and done it all many times.
Also on a personal level i am quite excited that Klopp is coming over to our Premier League, looks and sounds a real character.
I have never been convinced by Ancelotti.
He have always managed big clubs with a big transfer budget like Milan,Chelsea,PSG and Madrid.
Can he do it with our group of players, I am not so sure. Klopp for me everyday. He has a certain style of play which is the same as the 2013/2014 season we had. He wants players who suit that style so there will be some players who will leave the club.
The players who will suit his high energy style are Moreno, Sakho,Clyne, Henderson, Markovic, Milner, Ings.
Klopp is easier to spell.
It is certainly an intriguing prospect. I'm not 100% convinced, but as always will be completely open minded and back him completely
The players who will suit his high energy style are Moreno, Sakho,Clyne, Henderson, Markovic, Milner, Ings.
------------------------
Yes I have a feeling Markovic may be recalled and used correctly.
Who do you think will be near the firing line though?
I imagine Klopps first major signing to be a commanding leader at centre back (I pray for Hummels or even Subotic to partner Sakho). That is a real upgrade on Shaking Skrtel. I also hope he decides on bringing in a more commanding keeper.
I think Lovren and Allen's days could be up. I also think Skrtel, Lucas (no pace, otherwise good), Toure, Benteke, Mignolet and Origi may have to really prove themselves to him.
Pretty sure you can't recall players on season long loans.
Markovic won't be coming back this season.
Im not really sure what people need convincing of.
If anything, we are lucky to be getting a manager of such high regard, and obvious talent, who, if he decided to wait, could easily take up a position at a much more established club in terms of playing in the champions league regularly, and already challenging for honours
I am quite frankly thankful that such a young and highly regarded coach in world football as Klopp is, is willing to come to our club at this time.
Count your blessings boys.
Oh, and if for some reason he doesn't come then scratch all that shiite above.

Every player will have to prove themselves. Its a clean slate when a new manager joins.

He's only really achieved anything at one club, and it went wrong in his last season. None of this may matter, I have no idea, and he could be a fantastic manager. I'm just keeping an open mind. Not being 100% convinced doesn't mean I'm not excited at the prospect of him coming. If you know my posting history you'll realise I'm more positive than most (ask Righteous), so I am looking forward to seeing just how good he is, im just being cautious because I admit to not knowing that much about him, other than what I've recently read

you've got the same thought's as me, I think if Rodgers find's another club I can see either Loveren, allen, Toure and Skrtel will join him and maybe Ibe will go as well or out on loan and bring in a central defender and move Can to the midfield, and also think Benteke and Origi will be alright I'm not so sure about Mignolet good stopper but his distribution is a bit suspect.
That is really interesting, if true that is. Ancelotti is only after a stop gap 2 year project?
Will he retire after that?
If so, and he takes himself out of the market. Where will that leave Arsenal, Man Utd and Man city who will all be after a manager. Guardiola will only go to one of those clubs which I believe to be Man City.
Chelsea might as well stick with Mourinho.
Imperative we get Klopp in now.
