"Can't believe this is even a discussion, hazard is far better than coutinho."
No one's really disputing that. This is all about who's more overrated.
Sterling is a good shout.
Costa, Cazorla, Schneiderlin up there as well.

Coutinhos like Rosicky. Very talented and has a good style of play but doesn't really contribute to much.
Hazard is a brilliant player playing at a club that doesn't suit him yet still their best player. Put him in a more attack minded team and he will shine

All the players mentioned are class. Hazard, coutinho, sterling, ozil ... Probably the most exiting players to watch in the league. I despair for this board sometimes.
Overrated is the likes of Hendo, Matic, Cahill, Coquelin. If these guys could play football like they can run around they would be playing for Juve, Barca, Psg, Bayern etc. The prem cannot seem to attract the deep lying playmaker for some reason.
Those who don't see what Hazard does for Chelsea either haven't seen him much or simply don't understand football or are quite simply jealous and bitter. Especially last season when he was miles their best player. I'll admit he's struggled a bit this season. His dribbling and effective use of the ball was the best I've seen in England in a long time, combining close control and explosive acceleration, and he was miles the most creative player from open play in the division. Hazard was a player I rarely ever saw have a bad game and his influence in almost every game, even without scoring or assisting, was so palpable and consistent.
Coutinho is another matter. I've spent the last season telling Liverpool fans he's ludicrously overrated and even a lot of them are beginning to see sense.
So Ozil is widely billed as a flop by opposition fans and even many Arsenal fans yet is "overrated". Dictionary needed I think.
Opposition fans say Ozil is overrated because of the reputation, hype and price tag that followed his arrival which hasn't been justified by his displays. Not to mention the cringeworthy loyalists who big him up a little too desperately.
I've always said opposition fans underrate him, but a certain section of Arsenal fans ludicrously overhype him. Both sides do too much to overcompensate the extremes of the other.
I don't get the comments on Ozil, just because he doesn't score a goal every five minutes people say he's a flop.
But an article like this was always going to get this sort of response I guess, and an expensive import like Ozil is an obvious target for the ignorant.
I consider Hazard ridicule more outrageous, tbh. And I don't think the questions over Ozil are about scoring every 5 minutes. Though there's no reason a no.10 shouldn't shoulder some goal-scoring burden.
I wouldn't class him as a flop, but I'd agree he's been an underwhelming signing.
Hazard is a player who could make the step up to Bayern/Barca/Madrid. He's not overrated
Despite being a fantastic player, I think Aguero is a tad overrated
Ozil, like Sherrif said, is underrated by a lot of non-Arsenal fans, but some Arsenal fans more than make up for that by exaggerating literally everything he does
Coutinho is a good player but has been too greedy this season. He certainly isn't good enough for the likes of Barca or Madrid
"I consider Hazard ridicule more outrageous, tbh."
Course you do.
Hazard's a top player. But just like your accusation towards Ozil not shoulder any responsibility for his team, he is somewhat guilty of the same.
He's been horrendous this season and has made no wave whatsoever. There is no excuse for this.
But even last year when he was in good form he was nothing special in front of goal nor were his assists great.
His backers will refer to his general play which was admittedly very good. But why do the same clowns beat Ozil with that very same stick? Not scoring goals and whatnot?
