Yeah I don't care about runners-up either. Especially in Cups.
But thankfully Arsenal have won more titles than Liverpool in the last 10 seasons and finished Top 4 every season.
Liverpool have been poor in the league (finishing 7th, 8th repeatedly) and haven't compensated by winning titles.
I maintain that the FA Cup is bigger than the Europa.
United-Arsenal in the Cup was the most watched game in the UK last season. Beating United in front of a prime-time terrestrial TV audience is much bigger than beating Dynamo or whoever in the Europa.
Before there was any league, anywhere in the world, there was the FA Cup. It's where football began, and where it all begins again...

que dafuq??
All the big clubs have spent a few hundred million over the last 5 years.
Interestingly, the 2 teams that havent won the league (Arsenal and Liverpool), share a similar connection. Theyve both had to sell their best assets to spend big.
Chelsea, City etc have added to their assets.
Its 75% money, 25% management as far as im concerned.

"Arsenal fans class the FA cup as a title, and the community shield, and Ozil's 'assist title'. Remember what kind of infantile cretin you're talking to."

Beggars shouldn't threaten. Come on the Monday evening we will throw some used cloths and few quid to eat at your face.
Compared to city, cfc and Utd we are mere paupers, the link to the article tells us what we already knew, spend a shed load u generally get a title

That article only give a net spend of the clubs. Net spend doesn't win you trophies. Gross spend usually does. What is Liverpool's gross spend since FSG took over?
gross spend is the least useful financial indicator.
wages are statistically top, nett spend second and gross spend generally useless
Net spend is pretty sketchy as well, since you need an arbitrary starting point. You could say "since 2012 Team A has spent £10mill net and Team B has spent £100mill net." But if Team A already had a team worth £400mill in 2012 and Team B was only worth £20mill then Team A should still be better despite the lower net spend.
Cost of squad is usually a better indicator.
fair point
1. wages
2. squad cost
3. Revenue / spending power = intent
4. Nett spend
5. Gross spend
3 is the most important for future seasons though. My 1-5 is for current season
Spend is all rather arbitrary when you take into account wages and the position of strength clubs are buying from.
