To be fair, liverpool played with half their attacking players missing, and tge next time you meet, it will be a different opposition.
Well played today though, thought spurs just shaded it👍
I'm very pleased with our levels of performance this season. Reckon if we got Berahino we'd have been able to convert a couple of those draws into wins. Hope we get him in Jan.
Not too worried about Kane as he keeps getting chances-I'm sure he'll stick a few away soon.
Last season you played awful a lot of times but managed to nick 2-1 wins but this season you are playing much better but not getting the wins.

Spurs also had 6 players missing, Son, Dier, Mason, Bentaleb, Pritchard and Carroll, 4 of those are key players for Spurs.
I believe we have more points from the corresponding games last season, so plenty to be positive about, (correct me if I am wrong).
We also lost Chadli after ten minutes. Both teams had pretty much the same problems with injuries, however the entirely impartial reporting made it appear Liverpool were injury ravaged whilst we were at full strength.
Cant count diet missing.....hes suspeneded.
Part of the game he will go on to learn....but he's been a massive player for us this season....very impressive adaption.
I think the difference is our entire attack was missing, including backups barring our 20 year old 4th choice striker new to the league.
The chances of us scoring was more 10x likely to happen in our own end.

He was still missing, whether he is suspended or injured he was not available to play.
But he was unavailable thru his own fault.....for me.....cant really hold that up like players out thru injury.
I think the point is that we were missing key players, not just Liverpool.
Whether they were missing through suspension or injury is irrelevant.
Well for me its not....being banned thru suspension preventable.....being out thru injury not so much.....imo.
Junction I do get the point you're making, but the discussion was just about both teams having key players unavailable.
And it's possible if we analysed the respective injuries of each player you might argue that one or more occurred due to the player taking an unnecessary risk, and likewise one or more of Diers yellow cards might not have been fully warranted...
As a liverpool fan ill admit spurs were the better team and look really decent under poch ....
but im fairly happy with a point at whl....
I thought it was very even, Spurs may have had a couple of chances but only had them because of silly individual errors first from Lallana and Skrtel. Apart from that you created virtually nothing. We created little but you'd expect that when we were down to our 19 year old fourth choice striker making his league debut, but defended very well and fully deserved a point.
Possibly so.....but it is something he will learn to reign in....even given his position...5 this quick is pretty poor.
But as I said above.....its been a fab transformation from him....kudos to both him and poch.👍

Junction is being a bit silly here Dier was unavailable, end of. Whether injured, suspended, going to his Aunty Glads funeral he was unavailable for selection.
Anyway Dier will be available for the next match, unless he steps on a bar of soap in the shower.
Liverpool had arguably 4/5 of our best players out (Henderson, Benteke, Sturridge, Firmino) plus additional injuries to Ings (who would have started) and Gomez who was pushing for a start. Out of your 6 injured players only Son, Dier and one of Mason or Bentaleb would have started so to say we were equal on the injury front is a bit incorrect.
Sandy Fook right off.....silly cos you don't agree....!!!
When on another thread you were arguing with 'pool fans over them moaning and criticizing your opinion....!!!!

Yep agree tarrico, whatever people say about Son and Njie they aren't strikers, so we have just one and he's not in form.....stupid position to be in

I think only having 1 striker will bite us on the bum

Meanwhile Berahino has his third goal in 6.

Using your shlogic, benteke studge and firmino wouldn't have all started so you only missed three players as well.

I think they will when fit. Hendo too.
