thought you d be watching scheteeevee getting ever nearer to the sack hebs....
Hopes of an entire hemisphere lie with the Scots, no pressure
Dunno Cat, but I stood next to him last Sunday in Argos, Derby, buying furniture then cramming it into his Range Rover and his wife's Mercedes. A week prior to that he passed me in his Aston Martin DB9 Volante!

Tempting as it is Diamond.......Mrs Heb is wearing woad and a Glengarry
Baz And he's still buying his furniture in Argos? Thought Aston Martin owners would just email Harrods.
(Doesn't seem long since I saw Maclaren buying a sofa in M&S)
excuse my ignorance heb,wt f id a woad ?? glengarry??
not some type of bondage gear is it?? lol
wearing a whisky hey??
very fetching...lol
That first goal is as good as you'll see all season.
Super team goal and boy what a finish.
Woad = blue paint
Glengarry = fetching Scottish military headwear
Whisky = Yes
Now if women started wearing a dash of single malt instead of that Chanel cr@p, that would be a real step change improvement

'Defenders played well'
MIDFIELD played well: when the defenders had to defend, not so great. Thankfully their impetus was all stifled at source.

Da da da da "Bradley Jackson"
We are starting to look the real deal. Excellent performance today, especially from Martin, Russell, Johnson and Thorne. Pity George's volley wasn't a touch higher. We were sucker punched for their first goal and it wasn't even a corner. For our fourth goal we had kept the ball for about 5 minutes and we thoroughly outclassed them. Bring on any other team, we are on the move.
Belated thanks for the match thread View xx
Indeed, thanks View, oidhche mhath!

Evening all. Back home, fed & rested
That was The Anglians' first live home victory since Feb 21st. Long time coming, but worra good'un !
Any one of about 5 could have got a standing ovation today, especially Bradders, I thought, and, of course, Chrissy. He was so good that I only heard one moan of 'stay on your effin feet, Martin' from the SWupper !
Strange atmosphere today, pretty quiet in the 2nd half.
I think it was just expectation as to how many we might get.
Best performance of the season so far ๐
We're starting to click into gear now, that was the Derby of old today, long may it continue.
Johnson class, 6m looking a snip! George, class. Christie rejuvenated. Hendrick scared of Butterfield, and it's showing. Johnny an absolute whippet, had there RB on toast for 90mins. Buttttttt........
Chrissy Martin ๐๐ป simply unplayable. That's all I have to say on the big man!
