Think we could go for another striker? Chamakh going on loan looks likely. Dempsey doesn't really fit in for what arsenal need right now.
we're linked with dempsey? that is interesting. i do like him as a player - very industrious, scores goals (got 13 in 40 last season) and can play in about four attacking positions. yeah, why not? i'd prefer him to benayoun if that's the choice.

Owen Hargreaves' move to Manchester City has broken down amid another injury scare.
He fell out of the transfer window.
He is not afraid to shoot (Dempsey).
Not quite a playmaker but a very good player. I would be happy enough if he signed.
