3pts and a raft of "pant wetter" & "why panic" threads.

Wolfie has been quiet following the Derby defeat. I thoroughly expect a RAA thread from him should we win tonight.
really putting an effort in as usual

TEAM NEWS
Wolves give a late fitness test to midfielder Dave Edwards, who missed the defeat at Derby with a groin injury.
Striker Adam Le Fondre is expected to play despite a hand injury but defender Ethan Ebanks-Landell has been ruled out for up to a month with a broken foot.
Brentford Boss Lee Carsley has an unchanged squad after his first win since taking over the reins last month.
Midfielders Sam Saunders, Lewis Macleod and Marcos Tebar and forward Scott Hogan are not yet ready to play.
MATCH FACTS
Wolves have only failed to score in one of their 10 previous home meetings with Brentford (W6 D1 L3).
Four of the five goals Brentford scored against Wolves last season arrived in the second half.
Benik Afobe has scored three goals in his last two games for Wolves.
Brentford are the only Championship side yet to keep a clean sheet this season.
truly pathetic
What are you saying Tatter? That Mick should never have been sacked?
He should deffo have been sacked, just not when he was sacked
When should he have been sacked, Tino?
either in the run up to the Jan window (as long as a proper replacement was lined up) or given till the EOS....
sacking him in Feb was pointless

Glad you made it WG, stick around and you'll see how a legend does it
Guys can please not mention Mick on this thread from now on ?
Reverse psychology
it wouldn't have been pointless if we'd got a decent replacement lined up, but we didn't.

We were mid-table (above expectations) prior to January. Could have been seen as a bit harsh at that point.
We wouldn't have had to sack him at the end of the season. Wasn't he on a one year rolling contract? Could have saved ourselves a bit of money.
or we did and "Steve" bottled it because the much beloved MolMix said "we" didn't want Steve Bruce
A one year ROLLING contract is different to a one year contract. It means that whenever you get shot you always have to pay them off with one year's salary.
After the Albion game I said he should go at the end of the season regardless of whether we survived or not. I felt he had lost too many fans to ever be a viable option for the following season. I have absolutely no doubt that if we had stayed up I would have changed my mind. I'm a big softy like that.

Harsh maybe but sometimes harsh decisions have to be taken....I had to sack a gf once as a better option was available
also look at Southampton sacking Adkins was harsh but they've gone on to better things
Thanks for clearing that up Tatter.
I always said I would have given him to the end of the season and moved him on then.
woohoo we all agree Mick should have been sacked, just not when we sacked him
I think we should close this discussion forever now, before the other side of the pond wake up or perton arrives with his daily musing.
we need 50/50 to delete the above convo before it's used in evidence against us
