Think a lot of Chelsea fans would've liked to emulate Suarez this season, and few few of them would likely have gone for the danglies.
I think the difference with the Suarez bite was more the fact we were fighting for a title and after the bite Suarez scored an equaliser in something like the 94th minute, which was harder to stomach than a lump of Brana flesh.

What an hypocrite,
Gabriel's gobbing off the referee and refusing to leave the pitch, makes it ok for you ?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Eh?
How does that make me a hypocrite?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well, if you're going to judge the incident in its entirety, please don't just bring up parts of the incidents to suit your agenda.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Costa said he doesn't complain, but he complained to get Gabriel red carded. If anyone is a hypocrite it is your player.
Gabriel was harshly sent off and he was angry hence he didn't leave the field immediately. I don't even know why you are comparing the two incidents.

very well put
I understand why you would be aggrieved with Suarez as Arsenal would be with Costa, however I don't buy this "he's a guy nice off the pitch" or "what happens on the pitch stays on the pitch" the antics they get upto shouldn't be excused.
Yes and no in my opinion, the whole on the pitch off the pitch is a bit of a grey area in my opinion. I don’t think his English is great and to be honest he doesn’t appear to do much media (besides you can never quite tell what is a projected image) but I do think he’s a decent enough bloke off the pitch and for him there is very much a line between the two. I used to be a right on the pitch in most sports, I’m not the most technically gifted sportsman but always made up for it with athleticism and aggression, but I am conscientious when it comes to others generally, that said I played most sport as a teenager which does warped, I’m not sure I could play quite the same way these days.

But the trouble is mate you be a nice guy off the pitch, but the players are in the spotlight whilst on it and any misdemeanours will be highlighted in the press and the bigger the team or player the bigger the fuss is, they've only themselves to blame if the don't like the attention, as we all know what players do when they're off the pitch unless it's banging a granny or sister in law, another players partner or knocking a DJ out ain't reported
Costa really upsetting the Pansies
Ahh I'm just playing Devil's Advocate really, I'm not evening arguing a point, is there even one? Problem with fans / forums is because of club loyalties points become black and white rather than just the grey that is in front of them.
He's at the right club to feel like the victim when he commits a 'crime'.
Is there anyone at chelsea that isn't being 'persecuted'?

I know, I think the point is the players shouldn't be surprised if they end up all over the back page if they get upto no good on the pitch an all over the front page if they get upto no good off it

Media propaganda.
Costa acts like a caaant every time he steps out on the pitch.
It's great entertainment but let's not act like he doesn't deserve the criticism he gets and that there's some sort of media campaign against him.
He sounds like Luis facking Suarez.
Chelsea players and fans turning into scousers with their victim complex.
