Giroud to his credit was very good today. I'd give him an 8.
But Ozil was MOTM.
Giroud was rated MOTM by Sky, but I would say Ozil
I would give Giroud 8
Think Chamberlain's getting some harsh treatment here - created three good opportunities in the second half alone (not to mention the great ball across the 6 yard box that Giroud was inches away from getting on the end of, and the through-ball where Giroud had just strayed offside) highest number of dribbles of any player on either side despite getting subbed off before the end of the game, and worked hard defensively.
Honestly can't understand how he's getting ratings of 5.
Ox was a 6. I'd say. He wasn't bad. Nor was he great.
Chambers was so much better in the 2nd half, I would give him 7 in the 2nd half and 5 in the 1st half
I'd give him a 7 overall. Quiet in the first half, but caused them a huge number of problems in the second half.

Chamberlain is an attacking player who has taken Ramsey's place. Therefore his defensive deficiencies are significantly more noticeable in comparison.
Giroud was motm for me tbh. Won everything against Stones, scored, created, hit the bar.
Our team for the next game should be:
Cech
Debuchy, Gabriel, Chambers, Gibbs
Flamini, Arteta
Ox, Cazorla, Iwobi,
Campbell
I don't really see what he did wrong defensively though. Got harangued for losing possession nearly 100 yards away from our goal, but absolutely none of their chances came from their left side (Galloway, Lennon or Mirallas). In fact, they had 0 successful crosses or chances created down that side of the pitch, with Lennon getting subbed off early and Mirallas proving equally ineffectual. Their best chances came down the right side and through the centre of pitch, with Deulofeu, in particular, causing Monreal a number of problems.
Oezil was unreal today, easily the best player in the pl
Iwobi? No. Theo was rested he should start up front.
Let's give Iwobi a chance and Theo can have an extended rest. We will roll them over anyway.
There isn't a single goal scorer in that team. Walcott or Giroud must start.
Iwobi. If there was any doubt that Tiki was an idiot. That comment quashed it.
Özil played a blinder for me. A joy to watch today.
Harsh on Ox.
It seems unless he scores or gets an assist people just assume he had a bad game. A very solid 7 for me
Really think Cech makes such a huge difference.
Everything sticks to him, West Ham debut aside just never seems to look even slightly fazed, no Ospina/Szcz/Fabianski/Almunia moments, just calm, collected and catches everything.
Still amazes me people thought he was a pointless signing.
Our next game is the COC isn't it so Tiki has a fair point if so
