Yes, I do.
I was incredibly surprised to go on the BBC website this morning and see 'Utd v. City in Dull Draw' and then a whole article of McNulty saying how boring it was
Maybe as a fan, it was more interesting. I felt very tense throughout and thought it was a good 0-0.
Neville is speaking rubbish.
It was an awful game that offered nothing to the football fan out there. Good 0-0 draws exist. Not this one though. Probably one of the worst games of the season.
I thought this was a very interesting article, and one that I agree with - I didn't think Saturday's game was boring at all,
-----
Nah, but the Manc derby on Sunday was as dull as dishwater!
Best 45 minutes of football in the PL this season? How quickly they forget!
The real lack of attacking quality for both teams was what made it the best game in world football this season for me.

There were some epic defensive performances out there which did lead to a boring attacking spectacle.
A game can be both technically great and boring... Barca were often so technically perfect that it could often be a boring affair for anyone but the purist.
The game wasnt awful at all.I actaully enjoyed it in parts.
Like I said a while back the defensive side of the game rarely gets the plaudits it should and I thought both defences did well in that regard.
Marcos Rojo should count himself very fortunate to have had such an accommodating captain as Wayne Rooney, who waited patiently for him and other new arrivals to come to terms with Louis Van Gaal's new system, often to Rooney's detriment.
There was overhit passes, poor first touches and passes that went straight out of play. Not one shot on target in that first half.
It really wasn't great. There was very little quality on show
PL teams berated all year for being crap defensively.
2 teams actually get the defensive side of thing absolutely spot on and its boring. Which is probably true.
You couldn't justify huge prices for season tickets or TV subscriptions for long though if every game was like that though.
"both teams set up to defend" So what were both defending against? A defence? It's like when that guy attacked me with a knife, I had to defend myself, but he didn't have a knife, and he was defending himself from me stabbing him. I didn't have a knife either. So we just sat in opposite corners of the room and minded our own business, sorry I mean defended ourselves so well.

His point is that it was like a game of chess, it wasn't a 4-3 thriller but that doesn't always mean its not a good game of Football. I've always said there's a reason SAF only won 2 UCLs in 26 years and that's because in Europe you have to be much more tactical and SAF didn't have that in his locker apart from when Quiroz was his assistant.
While I wouldn't call it a great game, it most certainly was not dull.
Sometimes you have to give the credit to the defences, and that was what was evident yesterday.
I actually enjoyed the game, but it would have been interesting to have seen what would have happened had bot teams bothered to field a striker up front...
I dont really want to comment on Citys defensive part of a game, because any team that has this Rooney playing as a striker is under little to no threat, but anytime Martial ran at their defence he looked like creating something.
But as for us, i thought our defence and Schneiderlin in front were fantastic, particularly Rojo, i feared that we would struggle to handle the front attacking 3 of Sterling, Yaya and De Bruyne, but we were really focused and determined in our defending, credit to Smalling again, becoming a real leader in our team.

RD25 SAF wasn't even in CL that many years. He probably qualified for it for less then 20 times.

I still think that when guys like Mourinho have won it twice in 10 years that SAF could have done better. This post isn't really about SAF its more about there is definitely a reason why English clubs are struggling in the UCL and that's tactics.
I get what Neville is saying but for me a great performance is where the whole team plays well and apart from the defences of both sides the rest were pretty average to poor. So in that respect I can't really agree.
We also have to appreciate than Neville is a defender so he probably has a greater interest in the defensive side but for me personally a great performance needs great attacking play.
Also while the defenders did their job lets actually look at the 2 strikers they had to deal with, Bony and Rooney, hardly at the top end of strikers in world football.
I guess Neville is just appreciating another side of the game, one that rarely gets much love which I get but give me fast attacking play any time over what I saw yesterday.
The crowd shouting attack beg to differ
RD25 Man Utd have most records in CL that will stand a long time.
