I love the FA Cup preliminary and early rounds

Proper football played by proper footballers in front of proper fans.

Ha! I wish.

Went to Nene Park back in their inaugural season in the football league back in 2001/02. hammered York 3-0.

One of only 5 stadia in england I've visited.

Nice wee stadium too. Seems its being turned into a block of flats or something now.

What a shame. I thought it was a nice stadium too. We won 2-1 - was a nice day out, drinks in a local pub and visited the Dr Martens shop on the ground (didn't buy anything though).

And in that first season in the big leagues, the Diamonds just missed out on promotion by losing the playoff final.

Swansea came 20th of 24 teams. What could have been....

Lovely wee stadium. Had a great visit with a friend who had been following them with me for a few years. We too partook in a few ales at a local pub. I remember playing pool and being surrounded by a lot of odd accents

It's not inconceivable that they might come back one day.

Already had a couple of promotions since being reformed. Up to the 8th tier now and flying high(ish)

It's one of the grounds that I'll never forget visiting. In the pub before the match, a friend of mine, a joker, decided to pull my stool from under me as I was about to sit down. I went down in slow motion, still clutching my pint!! Came up just as slow, and never spilt a drop. Round of applause from all in the pub <

You could do a Wimbledon

I'm going to Hillsborough tomorrow night to watch Wednesday v Arsenal in the Capital One Cup, but I will have half an eye on your replay via the internet

Here's hoping

My only memory from the pub, other than the general camaraderie, is feeling a little intimidated by the two busty barmaids who were wearing "manteasers" tshirts (with a malteasers design) who insisted on making a big deal about me and my mate coming to their wee establishment all the way from Northern ireland.

I love going to away games - regardless of the result. I think the craic is fantastic amongst what I consider the most loyal and long suffering fans.

I suppose they're all away games to you . . .
