All very reactionary. Hazard isn't the player he once was? Despite the fact he was Chelsea's best about 5 months ago.
Jose Foresaw Chelsea Collapse
----------------------------
Wow. Is there anything the man can't do?
What's reactionary about it, It is true, that Hazard is no where near the level he was last season.
“Chelsea are experiencing a small bump just now, but it could get much bigger if they panic and look to replace the most successful manager in their history."
Yup totally agree with Pat Nevin but then again I normally do, he always tells it straight. A lot like Gary Neville.
Sacking Jose would be the worse thing we could do at the moment. Things are bad at the moment but they will improve. Sacking José could see us go into freefall and then I really would start worrying about relegation.
He's saying it as if he's finished.

He's the best manager in the world. Do you not think he'd win a match if he wanted to? Chelsea are in the position they are in because of Jose. Not because of being rubbish, but because Jose is good enough to get them into the position.
Hazard has been awful this season.
I don't see what's wrong with Nevin's statement. He's not saying that Hazard is finished or that he can't get back to being the player he was.

a £37m pay off says it isn't going to happen....we just need to stabilise & possibly buy well in January, followed by a decent sized change next summer...the quality of change though depends on whwether we make CL, which isn't looking too likely currently

Well, apparently he can't stop his title winning team from losing.
Although to be fair to Jose, of course he knew what was going to happen. If you use the same core 13//14 players for the entire season in all competitions then you are going to burn them out and will need to replace a large percentage of them.
The whole thing is Jose's own fault for being stubborn and not using fringe players in the early stages of competitions.
Having said that, these are professional sportsmen and are paid HUGE salaries to play a game for at the most 240 minutes per week. FFS they should be able to play a couple of games EVERY week without burning themselves out.
If an unfit comedian can run 43 marathons in 51 days then these overpaid primadonnas should be able to run 1 marathon per week (approx 3 matches)

Pat bringing the quality again
Players have let us down with whatever they got up to over the summer. They seem the type pf players to win a title and then lose that hunger. We need to get players who are always ready for the next challenge.
Mikel played in for 4 games this season, 3 as a sub and 1 from start and was subbed off.
Yep, definitely Mike'ls fault

Yeah, age has caught up with him, if not age then all those serious injuries. What a ridiculous comment.

Mikels is the culprit

where does it say form? When someone says "he isn't the player he was" very rarely are you talking about form.

I know what he meant, don't care how you interpret it
