its not a very difficult concept. unless we sort out injuries we will never compete for the best trophies. it doesnt matter what squad players we buy. you need your best first team player playing regularly and consitently to win the league.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Walcott's injury could have been easily avoided because Wenger knew he was not fit. Just stupid to even bring him.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
personally i wouldnt have had theo anywhere near the squad either, looks like an awful risk from Wenger. That being said, he has had a full weeks rest. we are only less than a third into the season ffs
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Quick players are particularly vulnerable to muscle injuries. However Walcott was carrying an injury, hence being rested for Everton. That whole point of Wenger's 'red zone'. So Wenger's competitive nature got the better of him. Not good management at all.
Oxalde is just injury prone at this point in his career. Hopefully he grows out of it. Nothing Wenger could do abt that.
Rare agreement with Godfather, don't give an s about this game, genuinely wish we could have just sent the kids up, but with the current state of our youth setup, that would have resulted in nothing more than humiliation.
Praying the Ox and Walcott are only minor strains or precautions.
Injuries will ruin yet another promising season.
Rosicky, welbeck, Wilshere would have all featured tonight or their equivalent. Just need an injury to Coq to really mess us up over the ne t few weeks
The same British core get injured every season. Must be the most injury bunch in Europe.
Just need Gibbs to follow suit now
Coming up to the busy Xmas period and the famous arsenal injuries are here again
Forget the rest, an injury to Cech right now and our season is well and truly fecked.
You cannot have it both ways. A lot of the Academy kids are stagnating at youth level. The ones that are out on loan are there for a reason.
Apart from Serge...
Just looked at the chelsea score. Why did Costa go off? Is the cant injured?
Not even halftime we have over 600 comments
Costa went off after a knock

Looks like it - Substitution, Chelsea. Loïc Remy replaces Diego Costa because of an injury.
We need big and experienced players to step up next half, Giroud, mert, Flamini, Debuchy mainly
our injuries so far have been fairly decent comparatively speaking. lets hope these two were a blip and are not even serious injuries
when i play sport i often twinge my calf but i will be back playing in a week or even a few days. hopefully thats the case for theo
We go in stages.
At the moment it's the midfield and attack that are injured.
Give it a few months and it will be all the defenders
We are just slowly but surely getting back to our same old selves, more players in the physio than on the pitch.
Physio room says the next player we can expect back will be Ramsey, estimated 21st November. Before then we have Swansea, Bayern and Spurs...
Arsene will have slapped a few of them about at HT
Expect us to come roaring out the blocks at them!
Wenger will be explaining after that both will have scans tommorrow then on Thursday both will be confirmed out for 4-6 weeks.

He was stretching his hammy. A strain is two weeks. A pull is 4-6 weeks.
