Fecking typical, another season off shlte. With they usual top 4 play ok to cr4p football I thought we'd have a good chance with a new manager, but we aren't gonna win many games with origi upfront.

Have you had a change of medical staff with Klopp coming in?
Benteke while banging the goals in for Villa back end of last season never used to participate in training due to the risk of injury. Talk about alarm bells which we chose to ignore.
Sturridge mentally has gone as a footballer. Any little pain and he's out. Won't be long before we either release him or he retires.
How did Sturridge last so long in that golden season with Luis?
least he managed to do a season unlike Wheelchair Wilshere.
I agree re studge. I think.it is now mental and any slight knock he gets worried. Such a shame as he is our best plater
Such baseless statements on this website. BR openly said that Sturridge was having a number of injuries due to an underlying injury. They've done something to try to sort it out but is it really likely it will be problem solved straight away. Give the guy a break! Nobody close to the club has said anything that suggests he refuses to play. The physios and doctors will have as much input as him anyway.
But that is probably our season over. You can't have your 3 top striker injured for months at a time and expect to do anything of note. United haven't even got 3 strikers to get injured in the first place!

I just find it so frustrating, new striker in Jan then
Ah come on folks relax we will be grand this season is not one to be expecting anything. Accept this and then everything is a bonus
So, we are suffering more than our fair share of injuries. It's everyone else's fault too if I read some of the posts, especially Brendan's, defo down to him. It makes quite pathetic reading. One day, for me our best player, Ings, will be back, followed by Sturridge - I accept he is increasingly becoming a liability, though I'm sure through no fault of his own - Gomez, Hendo, Flanagan, they will all come back, and we will be better.
It's better to send time getting behind our manager and team than constantly moan about injuries. Just get on with it.
