Money.

Jose wont walk away from millions of pounds of "earnings", so he won't leave of his own accord. If he is sacked however, he makes a fortune.

I doubt he "wants" to get sacked, but doubt he would mind too much if he is. Which surely is more likely to happen than not, given Roman's past record?

It's not like he has history of getting the sack after 3 years in charge with other clubs and Chelsea in the past is it?

posted on 28/10/15

I don’t think he intentionally wants “the sack” however he is obviously extremely unhappy. He is not going to resign, and it will simply be down to RA’s patience.

It's a ridiculous conspiracy theory perpetuated by other fans with too much time on their hands. Just a shame that one of two of our fans are started to be taken in by it.

José has worked hard building up his reputation as arguably the best manager in the world and his home is in London.

wtf has happened to you Ronny

posted on 28/10/15

you naive fool Ronny

Jose didnt get what he wanted in the summer and doesnt want to develop a squad only add to it.

Jose becam unhappy and wanted to leave but knowing if he does he doesnt get a whopping great big pay check
So then does everything he possibly can to upset EVERYONE, not change anything to the squad despite poor on field performances.

jose knows Roman is trigger happy so knows this behavior and team form will eventually get him the sack

bingo, £30m quid and he gets to go to psg and be the second coach in history to win the league in 5 different country's

Yeah totally mental idea,

I'm sorry but the people that believe this are so small minded and fall into the classic fickle fan base.

Why be sorry about the truth? Only those who wish the demise of Chelsea FC will say things like that.

The idea of him engineering his own dismissal sounds like more of an excuse to justify his recent actions, or maybe an attempt to dispell the notion that he is currently crumbling under pressure, as that would taint the view that many supporters have of him, which is ultimately that Jose hardly ever fails and always has an element of control.

I for one think this idea is nonsensical.....because as a lover of the game/club which I believe Jose is, no amount of money can make up for lost integrity/reputation. Infact im of the belief that he opted for a second coming to right all the wrongs of his first tenure at the club, and build a long lasting legacy...
but hey that's just my opinion.

We are discussing the attitude of someone who has won the biggest prizes in Club Football and is at the top of his game. His reputation speaks for itself. We do not need to make a list.
If Jose Mourinho would do what you are suggesting, he would lose it all become a pariah in the sport, join the ranks of Sepp Blatter. No one would trust a man who would put money before honour. Actually Mons I do believe you are libelling him slandering his reputation by repeating things like that.
Of course you are entitled to your opinions, clearly you are passionate about them. But you are wrong and way out of line. Doubly so talking about a man who loves the club and has said "its not just a job , Chelsea is my passion".
Time will prove you wrong.

It’s also worth noting that JM has openly discussed the possibility of getting the sack since August. On some occasions without cause to do so.

He is clearly unhappy.

From the sale of Cech, to failing to sign Stones. And then signing that Senegal defender against his wishes, (who I understand has yet to make an appearance for CFC)??

His unhappiness is also reflected in the amount of misconduct/charges/issues he has been involved in this season. Which even for JM, has been remarkable.

However in spite of everything that has happened I don’t honestly believe he is actively seeking dismissal.

It can't possibly be that he's just having a bad season. Your players gave everything last season and now they can't be bothered

posted on 28/10/15

People seem to forget Mourinho has been the seem throughout his second spell with us, constantly blaming referees, questioning performances of key players when they've not performed. The only difference between now and the previous two seasons is that we aren't winning games, not Joses behaviour in interviews or on the touch lines, it just got brushed over because we were at the right end of the league table.

Jose didnt engineer his own sacking at Inter, Madrid, or his first term at Chelsea. He was dismissed by Chelsea and Madrid, and left Inter of his own accord.
What exactly are you suggesting?
The only common denominator here is not lasting more than 3 years, and it doesn't make logical sense for him to actively want out of Chelsea now, during his third season.and as reigning champion.

One would think if Jose would really want to lose his job he has the intelligence be more purposeful about it. Does one really need to be smart to be smartly incompetent ?

If I may just point out to the many ignorant who believe in this carp Roman has a history of not paying off his most recent managers from AVB onwards in fact. He stopped both AVB and RDM from managing the team but continued paying their wages. In the case of AVB
he stopped paying wages when AVB wanted the Spurs job and Roman released him from his contract when AVB needed his registration released to take Spurs job.
Hopefully that theory is dead in the water now.
