Villa need a new approach for sure.

From what Kevin Mac said they had to decide which way they were going to play, thought it was worth persevering with Gestede, so shoved Amavi and Bacuna on the wings as they're the two best crossers of the ball. Got the impression that was just for this match, Monday might be different.

I like 442 and i think its much better having 2 up top and natural wingers .. Its simple .. Play Grealish on the one wing and Gil/Sinclair on the other. I would personally go with Kozak and Ayew up top as the 2 if i had to pick.

It's frustrating, I genuinely think if the right team was selected Villa could win games but so many poor players seem to get selected week in week out. Bacuna, Westwood, Richardson, Hutton, Gestede. Some of these players shouldn't even make the bench in my opinion.

For Spurs I think this is a team that could cause real problems:

Personally I think we should give that line-up 5-10 games to get used to each other and we would move up the table. That's a young team but experience in there (Richards, Sanchez, Guzan, Gueye) and enough quality to make chances and win games.

Long term I'd like to think Ilori can replace Clark in the eleven, I like Clark but he can be error prone and Ilori is said to have great potential.

It's about time we started picking the best 11 and stop faffing around with players who just aren't good enough. It needs to start at Spurs.

1987 - like that team but I'd play Sinclair instead of Traore; he's probably our best goal scorer. Traore I'd use as a sub at the moment; I'm not convinced his overall game is good enough to start.

Whatever, we need to play a team whch can score goals, because we hand them out like freebies.

Agree. Give that line-up (more or less) a run of 5 or more matches and drop the 'has-beens'.

That is a decent looking XI and with some good subs too.

Bacuna, Westwood and those others need dropping!
