Ayrton Senna in this round.
Could you not have volunteers to write up a article about why a certain sportsman should win? Which will give everyone that has not seen much of a certain sportsman an idea of there achievements. For instance I have no interest in cricket but Donald bradman someone mention has a 99 bating average or something like that which has to make him high on the list even if it's a sh11t sport in my eyes

I was planning on writing something up for each finalist. I wanted to avoid bias in the OP but if people want to champion someone, then feel free and i can add it in.
Phil is the only one I believe isn't on PEDs so the others should be disqualified
Everyone who's remotely great in basketball always get compared to Jordan. That should say something.

Jordan has held so many Basketball records. Gets overlooked because people see him more as a celebrity, but as a sportsman he's one of the best ever

he gets overlooked because nobody gives a flying hoo-hah about Basketball outside of Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Miami
IMO (of the list) I don't think any of the other nominees dominated their sport in the same way Tayor has.
Jordan is also crap at baseball. Only ever did it in one league.

Don't think that's strictly true mate. Last few champions haven't come from those cities
