That is a small one Wethers. 😉
Return of Arfield and he scored in his last match, albeit his first goal of the season. He's doing alright for Burnley.
As tight as it may be, Town are left wanting up front. It'll be the Miller and Wells show up top and we know that's a mistake.
I've no twinges or great feelings for this one, at best a poor nil nil draw to look forward to.
Come on Spurs!

Anything would be a bonus from this one. I hope for a point, but I certainly don't expect it.
I don't know what to expect tomorrow.
am hoping (obviously) for a good performance and at least a draw.
Law of averages says that Big Ish must bang one in the onion bag at some point.
Prices at Burnley were reasonable so i got me, my lad and my nephew a ticket each.
any ideas on parking near Turf Moor?
As for Mr Vaughan - I read some articles on social media about the 'open day' at town yesterday and he (allegedly) was the only one that had a 'couldnt be arsd' attitude for the meet / greet and signings.
Still, at least he has tuesday night at Reading to get himself sent off again so he misses another Leeds game.
prediction - 2 - 1 town - Big Ish both! ha ha
Vaughan is always like that. He hid on the last one. Nobhead.
He needs the shop window of scoring goals to get another contract elsewhere.. We know he's as thick as a brick, but surely he realises he needs to play..
I'm going to this one, more with hope than optimism, but you never know.
2-1 to Town, Miller and Wells to score
Cellino has confirmed a deal has been agreed in principle to sell a majority stake to Leeds Fans United. Interesting.
Which means what? Buy him out.. Then their skint & can't afford a player?
Marching onto nowhere as always! Happy days.
I imagine the ultimate aim is to try and get an offer from some owners they want. Still a dangerous strategy but to be honest, surely it can't get much worse than they've already had? Ridsdale, Bates, GFH and now Cellino. They'll probably end up owned by ISIS.
Yep, win or you'll be stoned to death
Anyone read Chris Powell's preview of the match? He doesn't sound confident, mind you who is?
He says Town are a bit thread bare, but he won't recall Wallace or Lolley. I'd recall both, drop Davidson, he has been very poor and shuffle the pack to bring Wallace in. As for Lolley, he could pop in anywhere in midfield, he'd stick to his task in getting forward. 🍭
I've a gut feeling, I reckon Miller will be up front on his own and just about everyone else will occupy the Town half of the pitch. If they are set up that way, then I fear Town will get a thumping.
Gone are the days when I used to look forward to local away days. A few years ago, I would have been going to this game. Cba now at all. I said to Wetherby yesterday that I won't be going to the jss this season.
We can't compete, especially when we've sold our better players. Sorry the negativity, but I've had no kip at all last night
As for stoning players, I'd give a quid a pebble to skim a few at Miller. Off to bed now
Your just feeling the same way as most town fans hydy
So the club model is to sell any player that we get an offer for..then dont re invest the money on new talent....take all the hope and enthusiasm away from all fans......and then just to rub salt into t wounds charge fans 30 quid to turn up ont day to watch a carthorse called miller
Udders folk are an honest bunch and dont like being patronised...crowds 3/4 thousand down per game!....someone needs to wake up n smell the coffee
Town’s team vs Burnley:
1. Jed Steer
3. Jason Davidson
4. Dean Whitehead
5. Mark Hudson (c)
8. Jamie Paterson
10. Mustapha Carayol
11. Ishmael Miller
14. Martin Cranie
16. Emyr Huws
17. Harry Bunn
33. Joel Lynch
Substitutes:
Joe Murphy, Duane Holmes, Nahki Wells, Kyle Dempsey, Philip Billing, William Boyle, Flo Bojaj
Oggy has jinxed us with that penalty! He said we havent conceded a penalty yet!
And so it begins!
Just before half time!
What if this was an fa cup match, and Burnley were still in the premier league?
Would town up their game? I think so. It's all about the mindset.
NEGATIVESHITE
Hoyle out? WTF can he do about the Championship changing to exactly the same as the premier league.. 2 tiers, we are the same size club as Burnley yet with the ridiculous millions given to relegation failures is spoiling the second tier now.
He needs to stop selling our better players, so we can at least compete with these teams!
