Now this is good news. Who is he?
Toney I don't mind but grant feckin Holt, give me strength
Holt is having an absolute mare due to being too fat.
He is not fit to take home a wage - Wigan have been desperate to get his £50k wages off the books for a long time.
I feel another sagbo saga coming on.
Feckin Holt
Guess we are now going to pump long balls forward and let Afobe feed of holts knock downs etc.
Football from the dark ages. Oh well, needs must.
To be fair, lumping it up to Holt has to be a better option than lumping it up to 5'2" ALF, which was all we were doing anyway.
At least KJ has accepted that to play prehistoric football you do need a few dinosaurs.
On a positive note. Actually, there isn't one.
Wolves are going down again. Holt is the new Ray Hankin.
I don't think they will go up from League One next season, either. Jackett has killed the spirit at the club, just like Solbakken did.
We shall become just like Sheffield United.

From MolMix......
"Great signing just what we need. Hopefully get him permanently in January on 5/6 year deal . Great work again wolves really showing we mean business the championship teams must be $$$$ting themselves looking at our two last signings. Top two a possibility now this season"
Best be positive guys. He could just do a job for us. Imagine if he scores the winner and puts us above Mick'swich for the first time ever. That would be a shot in the arm and hopefully would instil confidence and rejuvenate the side.
I remember Stearman struggling against Holt last season, he can do a job from the bench. Wolves have been pumping long balls to Le Fondre and Afobe all season. At least now we might have someone that might win a few of them
another display of pure incompetence by jackett and thelwell
ffs he's 34 !!!
before you ask me jackett - p!ss off

At least with Toni & Guy the squad might get nice hair-cuts. Some on 'ere were moaning about Stearman's barnet.

So we lack experience and Kenneth the great
Brings in a 31 year old defender and a 34 year old striker
And you lot still moan......
Grow up or go and support another club

might be a sensible remark in 1952 when i was 4 at my first match ..........
as it is its the remark of a sh!t for brains d!ck head
no problem with holt as a plan b from the bench for 15 minutes. surely we've learned over the years (at the hands of bent, hesky, rat-face phillips etc.) that an old striker who has shown he knows how to score can still be a valuable asset.
a lot of us were asking for a iwelumo style signing at the start of the season. holt may not meet the mark set by one of MM's best ever deals, but he has to be better than watching another 90 minutes of hoof ball to the 5'8 ALF, or the unable to hold the ball up afobe?
Certainly a decent plan B option.
not the players themselves i criticise, its that its the useless pair that sold stearman at 28 because he's too old bringing them in
agree entirely with that wolfgang
a CB with a good seven years ahead of him too old. so we end up needing to loan a 31 yr old on the way down. similarly up front we don't bother in the transfer window replacing our main striker who is crocked all year, then end up needing to sign a 34 yr old. does seem like poor decision making behind the scenes.
