Heard a brilliant piece of music on 6 music this morning. It was an orchestral piece written by members of Spiritualised.
I'm going to buy it on vinyl.

Onan. I love TCTC. Sad they broke up largely unnoticed.

side note, the song that Zeppelin apparently stole for Stairway to Heaven is really boring and pants.

Cosmic
From what I could dig up JV went on an unofficial hiatus of sorts as he felt worn out by Bon Iver at that point. That was in 2012. Apparently he played new songs at a concert last year but he is still not writing a new album

That is from a record/artist that restored my faith in pop music. Pushed so many boundaries it's mindblowing!

It is Cosmic. So varied too but it does come together so nicely rather than feel like just a collection of songs. Love both the singles and the slower tracks equally which is actually rare for me. My mates know me more of a metal/rock/prog fan so they were shocked I was the one to introduce them to an album of that style.

I actually find it strange that despite it having songs like Faster and Come Alive that are just made for radio, it got zero airplay here. Shows how sheety radio has become really
