ok first half

scrappy from two average sides...even tho blouse could go second in the league if they win. wolves team working hard and some good performances from byrne, iorfa, and henry amongst others.

best player of the half so far tho...dave edwards

afobe still running the spaces but without a strike partner he looks largely toothless. got the assist tho so not totally anonymous. be interesting to see him with holt up fron helping out, possibly after an hour or so if byrne tires again

Wolves deserve that lead, Birmingham posed little threat. Afobe needs to buck his ideas up, lots of moves broken down through his poor control. Bright half from Byrne, good no nonsense defending from Williamson and Iorfa has got the better of their best player Gray.

Shame there's still 45 minutes to go, Blues will surely offer more after the break

Iorfa is feckin quick.

Byrne probably our best player going forward, though Henry has looked good as well.

I've been saying the same too, Gem. Out of all our wide players, he is the best at linking play and help our transition from defence to attack.

Not complaining ohso, they do indeed all count and knowing us we will need that goal later.

Maybe a tougher second half to come ?

I've been impressed with how well we have pressed without the ball. Still not playing the flowing football I would like and Birmingham just look like an average Championship side that are just well organised and managed.

Surely brum will being something second half.

Maybe as they start to push we can bring on Graham to scare them with pace for Henry.

If graham comes on it should be for Byrne as they both play on the left. Although knowing Kenny he'll put Graham on the right and Coady on the left with Edwards at RB
